Thread: Force Powers Question

And the reason Im limited on skills is because (an please don't chastise me, sick of hearing it enough from server friends) but Im keeping TKM and only want force skills that will round me off as a TK artist. Yes I realize that you cant use powers in armor (I generally fight unarmed without armor anyhow,), and yes I realize that the TK def mods wont apply when fighting as a jedi in revamp. Its just that I think theres way more to the game than to be a pvp god (I dont pvp much anymore).

So sue me, I dont care to be an uber jedi, most of the high ranking ones are cocky and selfish, and grief new players and talk down to them, I don't want to be part of that.

So for now I have the ability to heal my own BF, my own mind, Lightning 1, the scare animal power and a couple others that will go well in the end as an unarmored, unarmed combatant. So any (positive only) feedback or suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks

I would get lightning cone 1 if you are going to use it at all. Mostly for the accuracy and power it adds.

Force intimidate is in the force dimish line. One thing to note that I haven't seen mentioned is that force intimidate uses your opponents force defense not regular range / melee defense to determine your to hit chance. Which means.....if it works as intended ....that you should hit much more often then with the regular brawler intimidate since not many things have force defense.

I am going MP and when doing my final respec I will have enough to get 2 trees in powers. One will be force cloak but not sure about the second to get. Any suggestions? Anti-BH is the priority lol.

As it stands now I am thinking of force diminish tree. Lightning seems useless ATM with the warmup timers (or it would be pretty useful instead of saber throw when chasing a BH). Psychkinesis line has con KD which might be of some use when grinding, but not that useful when fighting a BH.

Yeah asa MP jedi myself I'd recomend the cloak and the weaken line first I guess. Lightning's timers are annoying and saber throw does just about the same thing and it has a kd.

There is no BEST attack from powers...each one has it's purpose and place to be used. Powers is for the jedi who wants a big challenge. Don't just spam one special...it's quite rare that I'll use the same attack twice during a single mob, simply because of the potential combos that exist based on each situation.

That said...the neatest command is cloak...has the largest potential for creative thought and use.
