Agh ... I do not like ergonomic keyboads, wireless mice and flat panel monitors...

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

I'm using an old Trinitron monitor, a non ergonomic wrist cracker keyboard and my desk is covered with cigarette packets (80's gamer). What should I get?

When I bought my monitor I took a 22" monitor and a desk for the same price asa smaller TFT monitor that couldnt handle the same resolutions.
When I picked the mouse I took a mx510 gaming mouse with cord, becouse wireless components for a stationary computer seems like a very pointless invention. Avoiding the hassle of changing batteries seem like a "luxury" option.
When I picked my keyboard I picked a keyboard with plug-n-play drivers with the "classic" design. I have learned how to write without looking down on the keyboard and I simply cannot do that on an ergonomic keyboard.

There are two pc's in my house the other has a flatscreen, can't stand it.

Agreed. It's like Wi-Fi, complete rip-off. I still use a cable connection to my router.

Again I'm with you. I've been using computers since I was 3 years old. The standard 101 layout is in my blood

I use Wi-Fi for my laptop and my pocket pc... Thoose stuff are meant to be portable...
But I do not see why I should be able to use my mouse 10m away from the monitor...
Even worse are wireless keyboards... Especially with an antenna on cord....

How can you hate the french? They made french fries and french fries are so good.

lol never used a french layout. I'm using an Irish layout. Just a couple of keys in different places from U.S. keyboards.

while we're on the topic of keyboards.. did you know that the QWERT keyboard was designed to slow the typist down? it's true. our keyboards are relics of the mechanical error, and they used to have a problem with people typing so fast that the actual "teeth" (or whatever they're called) would get jammed together.

too bad we don't have some new version of keyboards that is truly faster. it would take a generation or more to get people to switch at this point. limited by our own inventions lol
