For #2..... Considering it is a schematic and you have to craft the saber, I would assume that the stats vary just like any other saber. Guaarr did not put the specifics of his saber in this post casue he probably did not want everyone whining about how his saber is so much better, blah, blah, blah. You will most likely have to loot/make the schematic yourself to determine stats.


Guaarr posted this to show everyone a cool new saber that can be made, not to brag about his saber stats. I for one am very excited there is a new saber out, and I can't wait to figure out how to get it.

Call me a very negative person, but I only see problems with this.


Now everyone will have the same saber hilt, with the same color(s) and the same robes. If there were new different hilts (lets say four or five with skill mods and such) I would rush to mustafar and try all the combinations possible for the cube and even loot mustafarian miners.. BUUUT knowing SoE, thats the only hilt in the expansion.

I wont call him negitive.. However.. I feel that we as jedi are to be our own Jedi.. Not Clones.. The Cloaks are cool cause we acan wear diferent clothing underneath. but one hilt.. I agree I wish it were 4 to 5 different hilts and also a Doubleblade hilt.. If this is done thru the cube, maybe the named Crystals might be coming too... Here is to hope..

But it's true. A Jedi's lightsaber is unique. We all look the same in our robes but our hilts should be very different from one another.

That was pretty much my point. This only brings a lack of "individualization" (if thats even a word) to your own avatar.

Don't get me wrong, the fact SoE is giving awsome loot to players fills my belly with joy, BUT, it causes the players to persue the same items, thus every Jedi will look and use the same at some point.


Easy fix:

Start releasing more awsome loot like these, but that allows a wider range of costumization for the player's avatar wich allows it to reflect as an unique character in the game.


A good way to start this is by doing that "getnamed crystals from the Chu Cube" thing someone wrote. Thats an awsome idea.

id be more happy with CA's and pwr crystals for loot drops, but im patient and need to explore mustafars jedi content loot. please no more junk loot like ones found on kashyyk. they really sucked and provided zero help by way of loot that is worth anything to most. aside from bio weps.
