Hmm, if they changed the whole saber system this wouldn't be such a bad idea.. if the saber itself did more dmg and you could only put one or maybe 2 perls in the saber. But with the effort it takes to get a good saber today, this would be insane

That will never happen. What's funny to me is the fact that he was actually defending his idea. I'm all for people posting ideas to make the game better, but I just don't understand how on earth that will make the game better.

A trophy system would be quite nice but not removing the acutal saber... as mentioned a replica saying "x's" saber..

They did this in Diablo 2, you could claim the ear of someone you defeated.. Was a lot of fun collecting ears I'll support a fun trophy system but not the looting of actual sabers. Especially if it has the CL of the combatants plugged in eg Opal's Lighsaber (80 vs 67)

People have been saying it is the end since the beginning... (well, not exactly.. but you get my point). People leave, people come back... the game will be around till the next rendition. Why? Because their will always be those that will take whatever this game throws at them with a grain of salt, and will continue to play. Whether for friends, their successful in game business, whatever the reason... hell, because it is SW. There is no other game like this one, and even STO next year won't be all that similar.

If most of the Jedi did quit, WOW! I can think of ALOT of people that would come back. People that left because of Jedi ruining the game experience for them. And I don't think all jedi would quit the game, as you suggest. I know I wouldnt... and I have 4 accounts.

Im not sure SOE could enforce this. The coding on this feature would be verrry difficult. And of course, it woul dcome with bugs, wouldnt want to imagine what would happen.

, some how i doubt this will ever come in as they would be better just deleting the majority of jedi. i woudlnt mind losing my pearls if they gave sabars the same stats a rifles without them.

You'd get the mother inlaw, half a washing maching, the neighbours from 3 doors down and any stray dogs that were passing at the time (oh and the guy was bankrupt and owed 98,654,343 Yen so you inherit the debt too)
