What are you talking about? He never said anything against Pre-CU Jedi & their Sabers, he just wants the Post-CU Pearls / crystals to be worth a @#$%.

*Sigh* Just another plea for something to even out the playing field, perhaps a pearl reset for post-cu pearls? Please, devs, CSR's, anybody at SOE, listen to the community for once and help us out.
why punish us the ones that got pre-cu premiums and flawless . Is it our fault we got em ? did we ask for this ? did we brake it ?

They've had everything else handed to them, they have no reason not to expect a great saber to be handed them.
That's not their fault. It's the DEV's fault.
OK flamers: His point is there is ZERO chance for him to build a good saber. I started building mine well before the CU and mine is better than any new Jedi I've met. All he wants is a CHANCE to build one.
If it takes him a year, cool. It's taken me almost a year to get this one, and it's FAR from some of the ones I've seen.

I did most of my grind with an 11 -9 in my first gen. We had to grind out MLS before we could use 4th gen sabers.
New jedi still have the ability to get excellent sabers, it just takes time, effort and credits.

I say false to that.
And I shall have the proof to that shortly.
I make a point to start a new character every time there isa major change to the Jedi system, starting from scratch and experiencing the system for myself.
So far I have started from scratch, made force sensitive in under 6 hours, and already am gathering quality and good crystals for after my Lightsaber trial.
Considering that with the exeption of my all time best pearl, which was only quality to begin with, on my main character all the crystals I use are post CU, fair to goodand tuned rather well (I had to tune 45 crystals to get 3 that I am satisfied with), I believe I will find that the new Jedi are perfectly capable of getting just as good a saber as before.

FYI, the other week a gave another jedi I know, who has a weak saber a bunch of cyrstals/pearls that i looted. he got an 88 -8 tune from a POOR crystal. Its still possible to get 120 -9 tunes, just dont expect it from the first crystal you tune. loot enough crystals/pearls and eventualy you'll get 4 100+ damage tunes that you can use. dont expect everything handed to you on a silver plater.

agreed. not every premium back in teh day turned out to be teh best tune. Time is the key.

yeah, post-cu jedi seem to think that every premium/flawless would tune perfect. like all you need is just 4 premium pearls for a perfect saber. Fact is that only about 1 in 5 tuned close to perfect, rest just tuned crap. I have a nice collection of about 15 premium crystals/pears with terrible stats.
even with the pearls in my saber, none are perfect. just close to perfect

For me it was about 1-25 to 1-50...And my saber STILL isnt perfect...I tuned lots of premies/flawlesses to crap back in the day...ALOT

the truth is these whining newblet jedi whined and got full respec jedi templates in 2 weeks.
now they want to whne and get it to rain flawless pearls.
tell you what, the pearls and tunes are out there, i ve seen them
there is 1 misconception tho, that is premium pearls tune to uber stats. this is not and has not ever been the case. i have a house full of tuned pre cu premium pearls tht tuned to crap and i dont use.
fact is i hunted and killed over 400 krayts inside of 6 months for my 4 pearls i use today.
when you have killed 400 krayts, guess what, you wont be here, you will have a nice saber.
oh yea, i used my alt to kill the krayts, so the bh s wouldnt get me, you should try the same.the pearls are there, get ut there and get them.
funny how i never see anybody hunting krayts anymore, but the forum is full of whiners.
