I'd agree. My personal GUESS is that they will institute something very similar to the old FRS. The reason I say that is the SoE has shown remarkably little originality in their programming over the past two years-all of the "new and exciting methods" have turned out to be rehashed versions of the old method.
For example, the village was stated to be new and exciting and promised a story driven way to get to jedi. What do we get? Time limited quests that unlock grinding.
Expect the "new" FRS to have something like the old one: Light jedi get LS modifiers, dark jedi get force power mods.

Sure! They'll let you know, just like how they promised to warn players before the original respec period ended...
Don't count on a warning. Keep the respec in case it can help, but make SURE that the template you have is one that you can live with/grind with.

Hmmm, have you been playing the same game developed by the same people that I have been playing for the past two plus years? If so, why would you be "sure" that they'll make ANY changes to the old system? Oh, and taking five months to develop it is no guarantee that it will be any different.
I hope that you aren't still waiting for them to fix the old SEAs that have never worked? (Polearm damage for the win!)

i used my token. i was bored one day . . .
Given what you know about SOE and their current move to try to make nearly everyone happy, i would think that the FRS will have a place for nearly every template. . .
