I think it is "themed" only because it doesnt follow a specific movie or story. BUT jedi are weak compared to the movie. Our sabers are bats, our powers are weak... Not that it hasnt been said before but we are in a sad state of affairs all around.

Yeah, but don't you see, this isn't the movies. The game is "themed" after the movies, not a identical to the movies.

By you even BEING a Jedi youve distorted the timeline, so be happy you even have a lightsaber

So, you'd trade things that make you weaker for those that would make you more powerful...

Some tradeoff.

(I'm not saying this is what I would advocate but...) A real offer would be something like, I'll trade 15 m of my range for reduced timers.

Now, that is a tradeoff...

Or you could go overboard and say...

I'd give up all but 5 m of my range in exchange for no zip timers and some increased power.

But then, you'd be similar to lightsaber wielding Jedi.

im so sorry for you

hope you find your sense of humor soon

next time ill have to add the /sarcasm off so the humor deprived can understand why the rest of the world is laughing

here my oppinion, lightning is fine, it zaps stuff, the zip bars suck, and need to go, but as long as people like you are around, they never will. which is stupid, head/leg/body hit should have them too. you dont like them? use saber hit.

now, choke on the other hand should have a root to go with the dot. or at least a snare.(and maybe the animation"appology accepted captain Needa"(favorite sw quote). weaken needs to do something, as it is, it doesnt for 14 seconds as a master skill.

what I would trade?

90% of powers users are so for cloak, move it to master, and remove the stupid zip bars, HUGE(maybe you missed that part before) force costs, and huge action costs. While i dont advocate removing the costs, i would like to see them cut in half. keep the states out of lightning, who cares, they are all broken anyways, devs are to busy working on the ID/Smuggler revamp than fix anything thats broken. if i want to apply states, there are at least 3 other powers attacks with stun and dizzy, give options on the KD and intimidate for single or aoe attack.

YES! Give jedi more power. This game should be fun, not an endless series of nerfs.

I don't have a singe skill in Powers, but I fully support reverse-nerfing!

lol, read your post on how to destroy the enjoyablility of jedi, nice job, stupid, but well posted. not everyone unlocked because they sucked a$$ at pvp with a normal toon, you did, good job.I dont need the power to pwn all, you do, good job again, and we are all glad that your already finished template and -10mil xp. as are likely 99% of those who supported you.

BTW, i unlocked on prof 22, BE, and i dont care about pvp, never have never will. i love pve though, and want to be viable in it, not godly, but viable.

im sorry that you are no longer as uber as you feel you deserve to be, sorry that you cant pwn cities full of people anymore after grinding on crystals or macro healing, that you cant put 99 crystals in your saber, and harvest bh's for your precious frs inbetween bouts of breaking spawns in the dwb or the warren, no more full damage with fr3, or any of the other totally balanced, fair things you used to have.

im so tired of hearing that carebears have ruined jedi, they didnt, they just showed the flaws when they tried to play a different style. if you really want to know who to blame for all the hate and nerfs, its all of you who are more worried about your ability to pwn the game.

< off topic >

After considerable debate on the NREP guild forum (New Republic, Bloodfin, Rebel), we concluded that the opposite of "nerf" is "wilson."

"Hey did you read the patch notes? Squad leaders got wilsoned big time."

"I wish they'd stop jerking us all around and wilson lightsabers. It makes no sense at all how pitiful they are now."

You get the idea. The reasoning is that nerf is the name of soft squishy sports stuff, often toys. Wilson, however, makes hard serious sports stuff, like the football in the Ravens / Steelers game last night that the Ravens didn't get to touch very often (lol).

So please, when compelled to say "denerf" or "reverse nerf," think of Tom Hanks in that 2-hour FedEx advertisement called Castaway. Who was his friend?

Wilson!!

I unlocked on profession completion number 32. I have 4 million xp banked (thats positive, not negative). I have never been below900k in the hole. I was (past tense) good at pvp and am still decent. By the way, that was when I was a normal. Not a Jedi. I didn't actively participate in pvp as a Jedi. I never did the FRS as I didn't want to add to the animosity normals have against us (this is during the time when fc'ing was popular mind you). I never did afk grinding. I never did crystal grinding. I never heal macro'd my grind. I never did endor and/or geo cave grinding. I've neither ground my template in the DWB (or bugged spawns there) nor in theWarren (or bugged spawns there). I never had (nor do I have) FR3.

With all that said, knowing full well you'll just find another reason to flame me, have anything more constructive to add? I mean, making assumptions is fun and all, but it does make you look the fool.

Funny how all those penalties we survived (the older Jedi) but you guys cannot. Eh, I guess thats why people label you carebears.

Again, back to topic. Without willing to give up something for, in turn, increased power, how can you justify any adjustments made to boost your abilities?

*edited below here to reflect a few other points*

I have never overloaded my saber either. Oh and those bugs that Jedi like to exploit? I've helped to try and isolate the reasons for them as well (and submit them via bug reports or via forum reports).

Carry on though...

What a classic post. 5 Stars!

You know, the thought actually ran through my head as I wrote "reverse-nerfing" that there should be a definite name for it. Wilson ftw.

Also, anyone that isa Steelers fan is okay in my book. We should get together in game, have a Jawa Beer or two and talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the 3-4 defense or if Cowher can ever win the big one....

"How are you getting beaten by a BH!? What's your template?

I'm a MPowers/MDefender/3000Healer/2000Enhancer and I NEVER lose to BHs.

Take some pyro +210 Ranged Accuracy drink before or during a battle and notice how sweet the killin' becomes."

I think you're spending too much time on the forums and not enough playing the gamebecause the +210 ranged acc. Doesn't do much for you. Not only that it limits your healing if you fill up on the short duration pyro and don't save room for ruby beil. The fact is any MCM+combat prof. can own a powers jedi 9 times out of 10.

In fact, the "I NEVER lose to BHs" should tell everyone that you're delusional . Youprobably got owned 3 times within an hour before posting that bs.

To every jedi that likes to stroke his own ego by spewing "i never lose" crap save yourself some typing and just post "/flex".
