...in fact it has been posted in the forums lately that you can't drop any fs skills because they support your jedi skills.

Now. if you dropped 24 points of Jedi skills, plus what ever it would take to start another profession, grinded up a more prefered branch of FS then dropped one branch of FS you didnt want, in theory it should work.

I am doing this atm on Chimaera, with currentx2 xp bonus for Server downtime.

I will be dropping a 2nd lvl Jedi box to free up skill points (buying it back later).
Capping out on Pistols/Carbs/Rifles at 200k xp each, plus 10% combat xp = 660k to convert in village at /30.
Melee profs cap at 10k, so u could also do those to get 704k /30 = 23466 fs combat xp per visit.

This will take 54 trips to village to complete for one column fs respec.
Since conversion is also x2 for me atm I only need 27 visits. Still a big pain.

If I don't finish this by the time x2 xp ends I will wait till Phase4 'Defend Village', and go join groups doing that mission there. Seems theres about 45 minutes of action every 1 1/2 hours there then, and should be able to cap about twice per attack.

You can grind FSXP as a Jedi. The thing is you need to use weapons of every type to get the xp. The caps are low and take way longer. Jedi xp CANNOT be converted.

Well i had Melee skills i didnt need [ i am Master Powers/Master Enhancer] and i thought, why not get the Luck skills, even if it only effects credit drops, at least it does something for me. =]

Also, some people just mashed [and AFK'ed] their way through the Village, so now that theres alot of down time post FRS removal.. it couldnt hurt to actually hold some skills you might want. And if they ever fix them, then woohoo!

its all dependant on what tree you wanna pick up... scout xp doesn't convert the same way as combat xp but is the easiest to get.. drop 19 points in jedi (15 for novice scout and 4 for the tree you want to pick up) and just go do spin groups and harvest until capped.... or if you need combat xp, just take your 200k at a time per weapon, and trade it in slowly... thats your only other option.

Not in theory, in actuality. I dunno how to be any clearer. It does work with minimal Jedi skills lost. Especially in the Sense's Tree. [AFK grinding in the village]

My question is....why change your FS template?

The skilllines are broken, outdated, or just not that powerful.
