Wookies just look silly in jedi garbs. They dont look true to the species. Padawan robes and looted jedi cloaks should have an option if you're wookie to convert it in the bio-linking phase. Like other robes, when it is bio-linked/converted, it would be no trade.

Wookies and ithorians and any other race that needs something specific to their race knew that when choosing that race. Its clearly laid out in the manual for the game and if you were too ignorant to read it thats your fault.

Ithorians and wookies get special clothing and bonuses that normal professions do not. I dont think they should be able to wear everything such as factional armor.

When it comes to jedi gear, I think they should have race designed outfits, because padawan robes look silly on them and the cloaks would look even sillier.

wow, take you long to think that one up?

LOL ok ruttgrr good point. We have seen a lot of Kashyyyk though in ep 3. What then? Still no wookie jedi there and no wookies in clothes.

Oo and may I point out the wookie we watched was neither clothed or a jedi.

Hey Rutigrr that was a good post man!

I do agree with trying to make things more star warsy feeling. The books you mention are an off shoot and I believe do not reflect the true direction of Lucas.

*I need to see a wookie in a mining uniform*...but as you see that was not meant to be either. Its doesnt fit and it doesnt fit into the story.

For the star warsy feeling....I never saw a wookie running around the jedi temple with robes or cloaks on, or running around for that matter. They wear no clothes and carry guns or melee weapons. That is what we have seen. Going outside of this makes the game LESS star warsy. Wookies have other clothing they can wear that they can put attachments on to enhance their abilities and dont need the cloak.

im not sure that because you didnt see any, that it means that there werent any. I dont remember seeing any rodian, trandoshan or bothan jedi, yet we have them, and they can wear the cloaks. I didn't see dathomir in the movies, but they it is in the books so im not sure that the vision you have of the true direction ofLucas fits what LucasArts has for the direction of the game. Just because you didnt see it in the movies, doesn't mean it didnt exist. Keep in mind that there is a whole galaxy out therethat was going on while we were watching a smuggler, a farmer and a princess (and yes a wookiee) save the masses from an evil dictator.

Right but wookies have a full coat of FUR. They arent going to wear much clothing. If anything wookie jedi gear should look somewhat like the cloaks Wookies already have. They would not wear the tighter fitting tunics that most jedi wear.

Can you stop making these posts. Or at least post them somewhere else ?

Item and loot forums perhaps ?

The rest of us dont care, maybe we did in the first 10 or 20 threads, but its getting old. I'm a Twi'lek, I cant wear alot of stuff, I deal with it, If they made a SUPER JEDI WARM HAT. I wouldnt complain.

totally agree with you here. i have no problem with this whatsoever. I think the debate on this is getting around the issue that all we are asking for is equal treatment on this. If the cloak that non wook/ithorians get was instead another bandolier or something like when you start the pilot profession - for those that dont know, when a wookiee or ithorian starts the pilot profession, instead of getting a pilots uniform (which they would not be able to wear) they instead get a bandolier which is usable as a backpack. So obviously there is a system ingame that can recognize who is recieving the item and give them a replacement item that they can use.

Now i understand that this is a loot item and not a quest item such as the case with the pilot gear, but if there was an NPC tailor or someone who we could go to, where we could turn it in and exchange it for something we could wear that would fit with the current Wookiee/Ithorian styles, then that would be acceptable. It would also allow for the option of a wookiee/ithorian who might choose to leave the item as it is for a decoration or 'trophy' that they could put up in their houses, or trade/sell to another character.

there are posts about this in the other forums, also in the quest forums, and the expansion forums. I think the reason that people are posting here is because the items we are discussing arent the point, its that the jedi abilities they enhance, are not available to us. but i do agree that it seems more appropriate to put in the items and loot forum.

so why do we need 82764 threads in each forum about it? Why not just have one post per forum and just keep adding to that? They all say the same thing basically...Why start a new one?

I do sympathise, I hate not being allowed to wear ST helmets or tusken Gloves or anything else I cant wear. I do have a cloak of what ever they are called (the brown one). I dont wear it because I think hood down cloaks look shabby. I just dont think spamming EVERY forum with multiple posts is the best way to get your point across. I also think wookiees should have their own paddy robes, but thats another subject

No, did it take you long to come up with "wookiees look silly in robes"?
