I believe u can get an artisan buff (a general crafting buff) to help and also I belive u will have more success with 6 points to start and then another 3, the best u can get is 2 amazings here and this will give the result the same as getting a great on the 6 and a great on the 3 (and u drop a box here) and then an extra point into eff. Ofcource u want any extra points to be spent in speed/damage.

14.99 is the best tool you can get. not a 15.

1H and 2H saber hilt cap at 96 instead of 95 like double blade on some servers? Normally we assume the saber crafting is exactly the same regardless of saber type, but here is proof that something is different between the types.

Ive been reading lately that people cant get to 95 sac on their saber. they are stuck at 96. Well yesterday i used 10k of each resource type and made a gajillion sabers.

I found that no matter what i do, i could not get 1H or 2H to95 sac. They seemed to capat 96 SAC. However, i could very easily get a double blade hilt to 95 sac. My friend was sitting with me and he was getting the same exact results.

This is just weird.....both types of hilt i could exp to 97% and double blade would be 95 and the others would be 96.

So those of you stuck at 96, try crafting a double blade and see what happens. Not that its gonna help you but at least this sheds a pinpoint of light on the situation.

(and just to clarify, i used all the uber goodies when crafting, i did exp of 8, then 3/1.....and i wasnt even able to spend all my points in efficiency. It would cap with me having points left over, so i am sure i was not able to hit 95)

well i like how you highlighted part of my sentance but forgot to read the rest where it says "on some servers"

you missed the point of the post.

everyone assumes that the sabers are all crafted using the same code formula but my point is, the sabers are not all the same.

using the same resources and same food/tools/etc listed above.....i get 95 no sweat on double blade.....but no matter what...even at the same 97% effictivness the 1H and 2H stay at 96

i can get it to 96 and still be able to put in another point which doesnt move it....

so my point is that crafting the 3 sabers types are different in some way. im not sure how but if you read what i said you should be able to undersand.

and one last time......using the EXACT same crafting stuff on all 3 saber types should produce the exact same results. but it does not in this case. i can easily craft 95sac 150-250 damage double blade. how is it that i cannot craft 95sac 1H or 2H using the same exact stuff? i have extra exp points but the sac caps at 96 due to server resources or something. anyways the point is, all 3 sabers cannot possibly be the same crafting formula.

(on1H and 2H8 points into expiramentation gets 97sac.....1 more point gets 96sac......and yet another point stays at 96sac. i got these results many many times. on double blade it goes from 97, thento 95 on the first point....not 96 and then 96 again on the extra point)

Just yesterday, using a +21 LS suit, I made a 2 handed saber with 95 SAC.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I used a +15 lightsaber crafting kit. Also, my fc was 47. After adding crystals it went down to 27.

Not ingame to check it, but arent the resource requirements slightly different for the different hilts? So if the doubleblade called for more of a resource that was higher quality it wuold slightly offset the hit you take for the crappier resource. Like if it took more polymer or culsion and the same amount of the aluminum you should see better results since those resources are usually better

yeap i thought that was only in pre-cu days. but many people are under the assumption that all 3 saber types would use the same exact resources from resource deeds, but that must not be true. im sure many servers sell "resource packs" so other people can make X amount of sabers. I dont think any of those sellers take into account what type of saber is to be made.
