Could this mean they took the cool animations that you get while holding ranged weapon and stuck them with the lightsaber?
This is dumb anyway.
Jedi can use a gun....why not? Makes no sense to trash this.
You give up Jedi stuff for a hybrid template, or you use basic attack with a laser rifle or similar.
Nothing bad or wrong about this.
Fix something that actually needs fixing.

I have a lot of respect for Hybrids. I did it for a while, and it was fun, then I went back to full template. It's just a shame. The diversity is nice.

I'm no hybrid.... I'm master powers, bunch-o-defender, healer 4000, enhancer 4002. I've been using my advanced laser rifle for quite some time now, and will surely miss it if it goes bye-bye...
