use area attack 1 to save on force the leg hit and main attcks eat your force, also drop Swords its not helping you at all and get the rest of the novice boxes for extra force, i dnt need to wear my robe due to the amount of force i have and the fact that my attack does not eat into it.
i use a 2nd gen with two -9 pearls so my force cost is 7 then i just spin attack the nest until everything is dead then leave it to do the same at the next mission, once this is done i return to the 1st mission and so on then return again to the 2nd i NEVER destroy the nests as this is a waste of time by the time ive finished spin attacking the 2nd mission for the 2nd time the 1st mission will set to incomplete so i cancel the 2nd mission then return for more.
im averaging 150k-210k a buff session on endor hunting Gurrecks and Borgles the other night i grinded without stopping and got 280k.

As some people have said before , its really a good idea to get channel when LS0030 instead of waitngtill LS0040 .. this way you canarea attack whatever w/o downtime and get 200 to 300k per buff session
That's how I feel.
At 0030, you should grab the mind heal and channel...just my opinion..see link below..(handbook)

I'm working on 0040 as well, and I'm blowing through it. Just Tuesday night I trained in 0030 and by yesterday evening I had gained 700k xp. Figure I played 7 hours or so overall. I was killing wild spawns on Endor, I really love the festering squills....gave about 741xp a pop, and went down pretty quick. I killed everything in sight except mereks and some of the spiders. Have been chased by more than a few Gorax...they seem to be everywhere now! Only 900k more xp until 0040....I can't wait!

You're going way to slow IMO. When I was at your level, I was reliably getting 250-300k per buff and making good coin. I group with an atst (sorry if you're reb). This gets me high enough level missions to get 5 mobs per spawn. You take 2 missions in same area, kill the first 10 at each, and then return for the rest (including the lair which now dies fast with saber). Then you kill everything you see in between and on way back for more missions. I recommend staying on Endor and taking fierce borgle missions (9700ish credits)...they give out 885 exp each but drop fast. Doing this WILL at least double your current output...prob more. Get channel force ASAP (I forget if you said you had it or not already) and you can grind non-stop and use a second gen saber. Hope this helps.

I've been a padawan for about 2 weeks and have so far trained ls0030 and novice healer. So far the XP hasn't been too much trouble, I have been doing mainly wild lairs of borgles, bol stompers, gurrecks, arcane drones etc on Endor. I always group with a pet and leave him at the starport.
My current skill points are laid out Master TKA, Medic 0040, Swordsman 4044, Reflexes Master, Combat Prowess 0044, Sabre 0030, Novice Healer.
I usually have 2300-2600 doc buffs and 400 strength brandy. I use Legthit3 on each mob in turn. I believe my sabre has a -5 fc crystal in it and I usually dont run out of force, maybe only once or twice a session do Ireach 0 and berserk for a little while as it regens.
The time it has taken for my grind so far has pretty much been in line with the guides in this forum. However I am now working on ls0040 and so far after 5 buff sessions I am at 550 out of the 1600k xp needed. so currently averging about 100k a session
The guides say it should take from 8-10 buff sessions so I seem to be a little off target and am wondering if anyone has any ideas that may help?
Thanks
I have to agree that you are going a little slow. I'm 0020, I kill the same things you do on endor. I pull 150k when I'm not in tell hell, and about 100k a buff when the guild is chewing on my ear. I kill little to nothing in the way of non mission spawns at the moment. This is all with leg hit 2.

I finally made it
Biggest difference was the lair milking tech and to use dodge bonus food (made spin attack much more useable).
So I am now ls0040, novice healer, novice enhancer. I haven't made a lvl3 sabre yet but did have a quick play with the extra specials- they seemed to take things down quite quickly
I don't honestly know if I will go any further with the grind
.It's a shame as it is my main toon who is 11 months old. I have never been a big fan of pvp and was really just learning Jedi as it was the only new content in the game that interested me but pvp seems the main destination under the current system.
For the time being I will take a break to level my rifleman alt and decide after that.
Thanks again for everyones help and advice
btw little tip : if you have ctrl+m map on and a very small triangle appears on it - leave ! It seems to be the landing marker for an imp shuttle from what I could tell of seeing one at the weekend.

I'm now ls 0040 after a 13hr grind on sat with a 2hr break for JTL, lol. I got there with a 1st gen fc6 saber, NO channel and only three novices. My force bar was barely hit despite doing spinattack continually...
Now going for force channel as the force cost of the specials is just too much, lol.
With the person that is worried about jedi being PvP only... that's just the focus of the FRS. Nothing says you have to be a knight. Add a splash of defender to your template and you can tank mobs quite nicely
As people keep saying, the focus of your jedi is whatever you want to make it.

Jeez,
I'm amazed by some of the figures you guys are quoting... I've been trying to get xx1x LS for what seems like an eternity and even after 3 nights (one buff a night) i'm still only up to 90k XP. I'm doing 5k quenker missions on Dant when in large solo groups but it just seems to be taking bloody ages..... Not to mention no matter where you go on Dantooine some bugger always manages to fly past you
Any help is appreciated

I'd guess yours is probably a force issue, you'r probably spending too much time regenning force which means less time killing. Probably have to pony up some cash for a nice premium pearl to tune and hope you get a -9fc on it, that will make your grind much easier for the time being. Also pikatta pie and snowcake are very helpful at the lower levels. You also want to watch and see how much xp your getting from your kills, find out what gives you the most xp for your level. At 0010 sabers quenkers should be pretty decent xp.

Jason67 thanks for your post,
Actually force doesn't seem to be a problem. I haven't yet dropped belowa third remaining and I'm not wearing my robes although i do have novice enhancer and novice healer. I have a good crystal in my saber and with double ended saber hit1 am doing over 1k of damage per hit to those stinking quenkers. It just seems to be taking sooooo long.
Will take your advice on the food stuffs though. That might make life a little easier
I dunno maybe i'm just impatient after having done the FS grind since August (didn't use grenades). Anyone have a better suggesting for where and what to grind other than Quenkers? Dant just seems to over populated on chimaera for my liking and it's only a matter of time before I end up on the terms if i continue grinding there.

The bad news is the first few saber boxes are the worst. The good news is that it does get better. once you get xx4x sabers it will seem like night and day. If force isn't an issue for you then it may simply be travel time between spawns. At your level you may want to try out the woolymander Palace, I think it will give you full or close to full xp for the ones inside. The first room may be a little tricky however as theirs about 6-8 of them all together. But the respawn rate should be easily fast enough for your level. they should be spawning about the time your done clearing the cave giving you a nonstop source of xp. Once you get to xx3x sabers you may want to try the blueleaf temple until sabers4. Right now the woolymander palace isn't very camped since the woolymanders aren't currently dropping bones, so now's a good time to test it out. The woolymanders outside the palace are lower hams and lower xp than the ones inside so that's a good place to test yourself out on first. If your having problems with the outside wooly's then chances are your not gonna be able to clear that first room.

Well after a break to do some rifle xp on my new alt ! I am now Novice Heal, Light Sabre 0041 and Force Enhancer 0002
XP is getting a lot easier now and I can finally dump the robes for an outfit that doesnt clash with my Zabrak face tats !
Looking forward to Sabre throw next, not sure what after that - sabre throw is the most exciting of all the skills to me for some reason.
Anyway thanks for the help everyone - and remember if you are stuck at 0040 eat that 52% dodge pie

Good to see you got some great info here. It kinda looks like this thread is done, but after scanning the messages I just wanted to add my 2cents and mention (and if i missed this advice, already being given, I appologive) thatGrassland VoritorTrackers give 950+xp ea and they dont DB or Disease/Poison. I have been doing them exclusively for mucho xp per buff. Just plug in the calculations to that great lair milking guide and you will see the difference. (But, the downside is the number of npc's spawning now...I hate Kunga's)
Cheers!
