Damn... I need to get into a Best Buy. I can then find out if it is indeed real (I work there, but just started my vacation).

But based on all of the info out there, there is something coming out.

No decay + uber loot = /spit on crafters

Fix the economy and give crafters their $$$ worth... give us real revamp.

Remember... to Cancel you have to go to Register Expansion in the Launchpad.

Reminds me of when ROTW rolled around. They said an expansion was being made but said they couldn't give out any info (name, what it's going to be like, etc), then the very next day someone found an article connected to the expansion then they made an announcement about it on the forums.

Exciting times these are.

if he is misleading us, get ready to get all your money back that you have put into this game. there is no way that soe can keep your money in this game if they are intentionaly keeping you here with empty promises and lies. thats the law. yeah, we sign a eula agreement everytime you sign in but in no way means that they can lie or misslead about their products. you would be entitled to a full refund of services because they never fullfilled their services.

Will you quit copy/pasting the same thing you know nothing about? Product descriptions for pre-orders are commonly mis-done, just find and ask any publishers house, especially when details havn't been given to distributers yet. Now my copy/paste from your identicle post in another thread.

Call into gamestop and ask if it's avialable for pre-order. IF it was just an online mistake, why would stores (so far wal-mart, cd universe, gamestop, barnes & noble, amazon.com, and a handfull of others) have it listed in their inventory computers? At the gamestop store where I checked it there was even a box display, saying on the front "Star Wars Galaxies, Starter Kit"

I used to play Living Force, which is the Role Playing Game Association's Star Wars d20 game and every little detail had to go through Lucas, if they didn't get his approval in time for a convention or other function, then the people running it would have to do something else on the spur of the moment. 4 months of planning or whatnot all put on hold in an instant just because they were not told it was ok to use that content.

I'll follow SWG till it folds regardless, because it's Star Wars.... however I know for a fact that if Lucas is running the boat and things don't work out as planned, he will pull the plug. It's happened before with Obi-Wan (the original sequel to Jedi Knight) which only came out for XBOX, it was set for the PC and I followed it's creation through magazones and the internet for over 2 years, only to one day come to the main web page and see " We are sorry to inform you that this game has been cancelled"

Actually the product description on that does look like it's for KOTOR II. But the other 20 or so don't.

for all you guys who dont want to beleive it, alot of people including myself got banned for re posting a message that described this very scenario just 3 days ago. about how soe is making jedi just another proffesion to choose from....this message was posted by someone who has a friend that works at soe...and I have not been able to get on the forums to even read about this "new" occurance that has cropped up during my ban.
