no, you cannot turn off/on your forcerun while the debuff is active, hence you cannot cancel the snare.

Nope!

And this effects all professions in PvP/PvE, not just Jedi.

I love it when folks say, "You still have stasis" to those Master Enhancers that are getting creamed by this latest Jedi nerf.

Sure, they still have Stasis - but if you are getting rooted from 50-80m away, your Stasis ain't gonna do you much good. And remember, stasis doesn't always stick anyway.

To me, if you aren't a Master Defender after this publish, your Jedi is not gonna be able to withstand the Force Run nerf. This is really a incredibly dumb thing that's happening, but it's just another in a long line of dumb things dating back to the Pistoleer nerf of more than two long years ago.

How does it help if you are a mster defender. FR (Prawan/Docbuff for non Jedi) was the way melee could avoid getting kited. With that gone ....

From what I have heard this only effects the running buffs. All other buffs are calculated with math (20-40=-20.) For the running issue it is calculated with logic (FR3 - Snare = Walking or Dead.)

This is something that effects all profs, but not as much as it effects jedi. Other profs have the change to opt out of PVP, Jedi do not. Before you say "stay off the terms" remember that it is NOT POSSIBLE TO STAY OFF THE TERMINALS. If you want to play ToOW, you will be required to kill NPCs. If you want to play RotW you are required to kill NPCs. There is just no way around it, and as a reward for playing the content, we are provided as content to other players.

When these debuffs take effect, we need to have the Electrolyte Drain or whichever one causes the snare to be removed from the 2 min effect timer. It should be about 30 sec with a 1 min recharge. Or the player that had it on should gain immunity, by adding a rage like state, for at least double the time it was applied. So if you get hit with it for 1 min, you are immune for 2. I know as a jedi the only snare I have lasts 30 seconds, and to a range character a snare is no big deal anyway.

The Force Run DeBuff nerf hurts Defenders, too. Didn't mean to imply that it didn't.

But since you can't get away by Force Running now, you're gonna have to stand and fight. If you have to stand and fight, you better have enough offense to kill and defense to survive the pounding you're gonna get since you can't run.

Hence, MLS/Master Defender is the best bet, post Pub 24. And that is very sad, because most Jedi are that template already. It's been the safest template for Jedi to have since CURB.

This entire direction the game has went since Pub 9 is finally reaching its logical conclusion - Carebears for everyone!

Well whatever, you have to get used to the idea that you were suckered into paying a company 5 months to grind out something that you'll need to continue to pay for in order to somehow see down the road how it might all pay off.

But it wont, dont hold your breath.
