Well, I know my reply is very late, but in case anyone else wonders,I would keep everthing that gives ranged defense for as long as possible.
Also, the critical one is to keep stopping shot in pistoleer for as long as possible to root BHs in order to escape encounters.

lol, yeah, I love lightning, especially when it delivers the killer blow, and the mob dies as you fry it... priceless.

AKAIK ranged bonus in FS do not help powers... hopefully that will get fixed butI have little hope for this. Seems FS skills are meant to be a useless skill points sink on the way to jedi.
And unless someone can prove me wrong, ranged accuracy foods (deuterium pyro, etc.) actually *do* help with ranged powers.
Lastly, the sad thing is tied to enhancer abilities in my template: suppression, stasis and other enhancer abilities do not have accuracy mods, the usey the accuracy of the weapon you are holding, which means if I hold a LS, I miss a lot since my LS accuracy sucks (I have +7 from a tape only). And if you hold no weapon at all, it uses your unarmed melee accuracy instead of force accuracy, which sucks even more. They really need to fix this, and I need to update my original post in "The Ugly" section with this info, as enhancer skills miss way too much in my template. ![]()

but a jedi without lightsaber is not a jedi for me (dark or light)
the wielder profession is justin complement of lighsaber profession, alone it's too weak.

would correllian ale help maybe? or is it only looking at ls accuracy and not general melee accuracy?

Their one ranged attack (saber throw) has a higher DPS than ours (force lightning). They can also do it while getting hit and they can do it while moving. Throw in lag, and powers often fizzle because the server thinks you're moving sometimes even when you're not.
with mpower/menhancer, and if usingforcerun 3 , and doing only drain forcewith ,force suspension/ Statis/ Weaken (snare) / Force wave / cloak ,
When force run 3 is on damage goes to nothing. Can't cloak because there are usually things near you and it drains a lot of force to keep turning it on and off. The other affects only keep the guy away, it doesn't kill him. Killing people is the problem with this template... it's hard to kill anything.
and stay 25 distanceall the time the only attack they have againt this temp is LS throw (and no armor break).
They have roots and snares. Also saberthrow is better than lightning - they don't have to stop to use it and they get a higher DPS. Also costs less force.
( but they don't have much range accuracy anyway,and 100 range defensedrink can help on that)
I may be wrong on this one, but I believe saber throw is calculated as a melee attack even though it's ranged.
and when their force =0 they are going to be much easier to fight.
Powers/Enhancers are going to be the first to run out of force. As for drain, what's to stop them from draining you back... or, even better, to kill you while you're wasting time trying to drain them?
I am not full temp yet just wondering why should n't use drain force to attack mls/mdef temp
Also, in addition to 500 novice header ,I can use stim-D with drink to reduce its cool off time ( statis can help to)
Drain also drains a pitiful amount of force. This template (I have it BTW) takes a ton of damage and with FA2 on, that wastes a ton of force. Stasis in PvP often misses and when it doesn't there's a good chance someone is going to hit your guy and break the effect.
I find MPow/MEnh/Healer a fun template but it's seriously lacking in PvE/PvP. My main drip is the DPS. For something so slow, so vulnerable, and so force-consuming, the DPS needs to be pushed way up to cover the many drawbacks of Powers. The devs promised Powers to be a viable alternative to Sabers in the CU, but so far they haven't delivered on this promise. Powers users are in complete envy of the DPS sabers and non-Jedi combat templates can put out these days.
