Don't support that stupid excuse. You don't have to support this thread, but you shouldn't repeat the feces that has expelled from other people's mouths.

learn to formulate your own thoughts and opinions.

You really think that if people had known this wasn't the natural state of Marbari Betls they would've spent all that time, money and effort for it to get nerfed? All of those people would not have put that much effort into an item that could potentially be nerfed.

It was the Dev's bug that started all of this, the Dev's inability to specify what the Marbari Belts were, the Dev's decision to be hyprocritical and take the wrong course of action.

dead issue man, I'm just tired of seeing people disregard a post and blame it on the jedi just because its easier that way.

I lost a really nice belt, really nice, and have realized that the Devs are - well - (not worth the words) and won't fix the belt, but I will put those ignorant people in their place.

Yes I do, 90+% of the people I have discussed it with individualy knew that

It's pretty darn obvious lol

Made by an Armosmith

Name: Mabari ARMORWEAVE Belt

Takes AMROR attachments

Before you start telling people to form their own thoughts you should look at the fact I posted on this issue from the get go.

Necro posting a dead issue needs to stop.

It was pre-nerf item, BS that so many people are going to put that much effort into an item knowing that it will get nerfed.

Made by an Armosmith

So are Ubese Shirts + Bandoliers

Name: Mabari ARMORWEAVE Belt

Name's a name, what does an armor belt protect exactly? Armor -Belt?

Takes AMROR attachments

So did Ubese Shirts and Ubese Bandos, yet it was still equipable to those w/ non-armor certs. Not to mention that only the prenerf belts had this abilitiy.

Before you start telling people to form their own thoughts you should look at the fact I posted on this issue from the get go.

Or you can look at what everyone else has posted, your idea of facts are skewed.

I agree; nerf CM, nerf ADKs, destroy Defender, threads are much more productive. Baciacca hasn't reported on these boards in quite a while. Each to their own agenda.

They did fix it, they just chose not to fix it the way you like it.

They chose to reclassify ubese shirts as cloting and not do the same with the belts

People complained enough that Tiggs did place it in a bug list and then after that the dev's came flat out and said it will not be chaned

Now quit beating on the dead horse

And no, I was not knowingly exploiting any system, had you guys actually read the arguement you would see as to why so many people invested so much time/money in acquiring a belt. Not so many people will work towards something knowing that it will get nerfed.

I'm sure you have something more brilliant to say in response.

Nothing brilliant at all. Just the obvious. How can you say you didn't know? You know we're not supposed to wear armor. Wearing an armor belt filled with armor attachments doesn't seem like exploiting? C'mon, I know you're not stupid so I can only assume you knew. I guess we have different definitions on what an exploit is. And by the way, I think the reason so many people went out and did it is because SOE has a horrible record when it comes to fixing bugs, and people just figured it SOE would never get around to fixing it. And the word is fix, not nerf.

Basic Rundown:

As soon as the CU hit, old "prenerf" marbari belts could be worn by jedi and could still take AAs. Keep in mind that only the old ones could, thus it seemed that the belt had finally been changed to the proper category and not reverse fix the old belts, just the like the ubese shirts, belts.

Basically, prenerf items are items that have abilities that its descendants don't, and since the Marbari Belts were pretty rare and limited, it didn't seem as something that was considered "exploiting" unless you consider BER 21 Harvesters, Craft Day products, good CU coverted weapons exploits.... but then that would be like calling all of the old solo group players exploiters because of all the credits they recieved and are no longer allowed into the system. How many prenerf items do you own? You consider those "exploited."

Like I said earlier, the devs didn't specify that these belts were "as new crafted ones were allowed to be worn by jedi as well." So this nerf happened due to a Dev bug, they didn't take responsibility to say what happened and they stealth/ninja nerfed it into the groupXP nerf.

I have personally acquired my mods on ADK'd clothes now, so I'm not really bitter, i'm just upset that people assume we were openly exploiting a "prenerf" item and that so many people would choose to do so. That and the fact that the devs openly ran the wrong course of action, being hyprocritical in resonse to the Ubese Shirts and Ubese bandoliers....

I think i'm done w/ this thread, I just don't appreciate the "boo hoo, exploiter, you deserve it" comments...
