When someone does this, he goes on my f-list if he already is not there, and I hold the mission as long as necessary to catch him out of the house in the next 3 days before the mission decays (or someone else gets him). I know plenty of other BHs that do the same. Yes, I know that means I do not do any other BH missions, but that's when I work on Pilot skills, Kashyyk quests etc.until I see him log in and then the hunt begins anew.

QFE. Yhats the Way it works for alot of us. We take the Mission and See it through. One of us will see the inside of a cloner thats for sure.

Once again, thank you for givinig players like me, so much control over your game, and allowing us to tie you up, and waste so much of your time.

And who said Bounty Hunters were dumb?

I think we were able to “tell” better stories, when we had player interdependency, and multiple, variable classes.

Actually I find beating BH keeps them away. I mean really kick their asses, once they know you're not a pushover, they won't bother trying. Usually have to kill each BH once or at least the majority though, to see a noticeable drop in BH. But, I haven't seen hide nor hair of a BH in a month, on two jedi characters no less.

If you always run from a BH you wont get any PvP experienced and when the FRS comes out you will be at the bottom rung

BH's are just practice now

Sorry but i think different, everyone knows that fighting against a BH is totally different than fighting a jedi, u gotta use completely different tactics and combinations. So BHs r only practice for ranged PvP. And if u really want to prepare for the FRS, get a bunch of jedi friends and go to a safe house and duel over and over there..

Evade them at all cost bycloak, force run, log in water/house etc.....

They won't waste thier time on you again.

I have recenty fell in love with Role Playing and...

You have just discibed my perfect Mark. I love the chase and I love the waiting and watching. If a Mark runs for 3 days I consider this to be a great hunt. Also keep in mind that as long as you are running, you are not able to do anything but run, hide, or log out.

It's just me I guess but you are the perfect mark for my play style. I would never drop your mission and seeing your name will make my eyes light up....You are 3 days of hardcore Bounty Hunter content. Thanks...

hehe i think u gotta see both sides here, i agree with
Tabor somewhat, but i also understand Redlion's point of view......most roleplayers would love a chance to chase a jedi runner, but most BHs just play for money, if they waste 3 days in a hunt, its bad business for them.

but i like how u think Red, the way u put it, sounds like fun hehe...hmm maybe ill make myself a MBH and give it a try..

Well I got killed by one jedi when I was CL 68 when I had only a few tier one boxes in Jedi... I stopped playing for a little while just because I didnt feel like grinding yet.. I come back and finish template... NOT ONE BH CAME AFTER ME! How'd I do it?... Before going into any towns I unequipped saber, turned off Force Run/Jedi Skills, Changed into normal clothes and avoided all confrontations around NPC's and ungrouped players. Someone would come by while grinding I would simply stop attacking and wait for them to leave, if lair was by NPC's I would sit back and let group kill it... Missing out on 30-40k of exp was better than losing over 100k exp in my opinion. When I got near the end of my template I stopped caring about vis very much

i thought that jedi names were taken off the terminals, so a BH doesnt know who he is after till he has the mission.

isnt that true?

It is true. Bounty hunters don't find out the name until they are on the same planet as you. But the mission will hold for 3 days.

And to the OP. Fleeing is expected. However if you escape my bh, you should expect to see me again. I'lll just track you for a while and find another oportunity to attack. Patience is one of the key weapons for a bounty hunter.

lol patience is key for BH....I was chillin in my house once afk for 6 hours while a BH was sitting on my step waiting for me on the front step the whole time.....probably really chapped his ass when I logged out to go to work......best part was him constantly sending /tells asking how much longer I will be.

No.

Thank you.

For giving me so much power to dictate your gameeplay.

The funny thing is, as an old school Jedi (28 professions mastered, Guardian pre-9, blah, blah, blah), I have no problem defeating the majority of BH who come after me (thank God for my pre-cu saber). The exception being players who exploit, and we all know that happens, in all professions. Honestly, BH are more a nuisance, than anything at all.

I'm gald you have so much fun waiting for me to decide if I feel like handing you your butt, or not. It's real nice to be the one in control.

Tanks has you guys all jacked up on this never ending vendetta thing, which is more humoruous, than troublesome.

I see a few BH posting in response to my thread, but I will tell you this, MOST BH are not clinical OCD cases, who will hold a mission for three days, on the off chance they can catch you with your pants down.

I actually find it more fun to toy guys like you, than fight you, but hey, to each his own.

How are you wastung my time?? Ive been ingame 2 years. i have done just about all there is todo except become a jedi. Which i realy dont find to be fun. The hunt is where the fun is. You say waste of time. I call it patience and enjoyment. not all of us are 12 yr old Instant gratifcation children. Some of us are old enough to Want to take our time. So you call me Dumb for enjoying the game. Frankly anyone who Grinds Jedi is the One thats Dumb in my book. But to each there own.

Today I had 9 BH come after me. Twice it was 2 at a time. I was able to play or do anything but deal with the constant attacks. AT the shuttle. Getting buffed. What ever I didthey were there and would hit me when I was distracted. At one point they hit me and had me encapped before I even knew what was happening. I managed to escape. I had a BH come out of cloak and breached my defences then did a knock down. I made it out of that one a bit easier.

I was knocked down getting off the shuttle and wanted to go play with my son on another planet. I couldn't leave the planet because of the TEF. I had to log out for a few hours and I logged in again with a TEF. They ruined my gameplay for the weekend which is the only time I get to play with my kids because they can't play during the week because of school. The weekends are always like this.

How about a limit ot the number of BH that can attack in a day.
