Actually this nerf seems to work to our advantage. Jedi have very strong defenses, if you consider aura and heal capabilitie, but relatively low dmg potential. Earlier, with spice staking BH, you just didn't have the chance to do enough dmg, before your force ran out. Now you just might have a chance.
Lets try to figure out the new system.
I noticed you can eat up to 3 foods with the same icon, but didn't check, how they influence my stats, whether they stack or override.

The only thing that is certain is change....
So I am sure the smart players out there will figure out the new rules on food and give the rest of us a guide to make it understandable. The stomach full thing and no spice stacking was an easy way to handle food.
The new system...I know I am confused... Eat one food get and Icon, eat another and the Icon disappears..... sometimes. ???
Please lets keep it simple.... and I understand balanced... thats good too.
Thanks,
Cicero

Started to upgrade based on the new system.
Its more difficult now, and its too bad that Melee Defense food isnt working.

I havnt bothered with it myself. Maybe Synthsteak would help if you are fast to eat it, but the duration is so short it doesnt feel worth the stomach space.

Nice guide, though you forgot to take a look at the newly crafted foods and drinks, they have way better stats then the converted ones. Like Brandy and Canape for instance they are newly crafted twice as good.

Most of my stats is from a very active and great chef called Gotik on Corbantis. Blame him.

Kind of a noob question, but I tried using val brandy and kiwik clusjo swirl and was only able to use of them. After i drank the brandy, nothing happened when i tried to eat the swirl. From the original post I should have been able to use both since they are both in comb A2+B1. I wondering if this is bug or if I read the post wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

oh and btw, great guide. It has really helped me a lot figuring out which foods/drinks to use without cancelling each other out. Thanks!

This excellent thread needs to be updated with the information in this thread. Until the melee/ranged defense bug is fixed, Vegeparsene is the food of choice for Jedi and it DOES work, you just have to equip and re-equip your saber after you eat it.
