Thread: Lightsaber Certification for CL80 Post NGE

Xp loss to cloning, xp loss to bh's, xp loss to perma overt status. I've ground my xp. I don't want to grind anymore. When the DEV's removed all xp loss they left most knights with millions in -xp due to being perma overt. ( for you new kids, that's always overt. Even after cloning) I have gone from -8 million when the cu went live to about -750k without trying to hard, but to make us grind again or give these new Jedi a leg up because they're capped at +4 million, is just another slap in the face to all vets.I hope SOE realizes that this desperity exsist and address it before it goes live, but thier track record on such things suck. You've taken our uniqueness, our power please don't take our accomplishment. We've done your grind, We've filled the boxes, We are Jedi.
best post ever! (from tib-infinity : currently banned for speaking the truth)
Pardon me for not reading the whole thread, but I have a char on TC2, and I too looked at the Jedi skill boxes.... doesn't the + (check in circle) mean recipe, not certification to wield? I thought it just meant we couldn't MAKE a fourth-gen saber until CL86, not that we couldn't WIELD one...
TC's are down now, so I can't check at the moment...

The only problem is: what is 'full template' ? The Jedi with 2 mastery's and 2 full trees (mls/meh/hlr 4040) has grinded significantly more xp than the dabbler with mls/def 4440/hlr 4000/enh 3002, although they will both still be cl 80 and no sp left, or close to no sp.
Should the dabbler also respec to a full mastery (cl 90) of the Jedi skills just as the double master should? I dunno, since I'm mls/meh/hlr 4040, I guess I think that only 'actual' full template Jedi (ALL sp used on Jedi skills, 0 left) should be able to respec to cl 90. I mean if someone hasn't truly finished the Jedi grind, then why should they all the sudden get to be truly fully templated for free? I mean ya gotta admit, alot of ppl dont go double mastery because they just want to use all their sp, and not have to grind as much.
But at any rate, yes, current full template Jedi (whatever that is determined to be) should be respec'd to cl 90 Jedi in the new system, and non-jedi that respec to Jedi shouldat least have to grind a little bit.
all the "the sky is falling" and "this sucks" posts are just annoying, gimme a break. You pay to play, so now you have something to play for.. and it pisses ya off? Disrespect? lol...But no seriously, i switched to Guyco and saved a TON of money on swoop insurance.
and on Sabers and certs... ya mLS use to be required for 4th Gen yes? so if we reverted to preCU then most wouldnt even have a gen3 so suck it up in that aspect
NGE should be fun i hope, frankly ive been bothered to have zero reason to play jedi. Now finally i get a reason to log on and fight things, and thats fine, it isnt like im less because its not finished template when NGE hits.
And for the whimpers on starting proff jedi... there isnt much of anything that says a jedi has to be a carbineer before they become a jedi. not even in the movies. i mean all those younglings from Episode3 fresh off the hospital tarmack swinging sabers.. they were starting proffession Jedi and look what happened to THem! So take it as a chance to laugh your skivies off at something for a change instead of looking like a pucker faced turdball with no RL.

Should be fun? I hope it is too... only problem is, I don't want to play a twitch game. They get boring to me. I want something with intelectual and strategic meat. I do not want reaction/coordination...... when/if i do, i'll go play CS again.
Sounds like a personal problem to me.
