I'm trying to start to assemble and prepare my SEAs into clothing. What is the best combo of clothing peices for maximum # of SEAs usable?
Gloves
Boot
Shirt
Pants
Cloak
Hat
Also, when placing clothing SEAs into peices, Is there a certain or correct way to do this? Example I have a hat with 3 sockets and my SEA has +6 to X and +9 to Y. When I insert it, does it only apply the +9 or does it use 2 sockets and apply both? Also if the stat is identical (+8 X, +8Y) which stat goes into the clothes and works?
Thanks for all your help.

Gloves - can have 4 sockets
Boots - can have 4 sockets
Shirt - can have 4 sockets
Pants - can have 4 sockets
Cloak - can have 4 sockets
Hat - can have 4sockets
Belt - can have 4 sockets
Bandolier - can have 4 sockets
Duster - can have 4 sockets
What you need to do is get Bio clothing to assist you with your needs. For Example:
Duster with ranged/melee defense
Shirt with ranged/melee defense
Bandolier with healing proficiency
You want to have 4 socketed items for your CAs becuase how the mods stick to the clothing. I'll look in the tailor forums for a good guide on BE clothing. Then you can see what is available.
There is also a guide on how to apply your CAs so you know that your important mods stick if the CA has more than one mod to it.

What pants and cloaks dont have sockets.
All the ones I have ever bought or had made for me have had 4 sockets in them.

Food for thought. If they ever do make Jedi robes viable again, you might want to focus all your attention on the hat, gloves, bandolier and belt that way you won't be out if the robe becomes a "must have" item again.

Just curious about the highlighted above. What does healing proficiency have to do with jedi? I'm pretty sure healing proficiency only boost healing of medic, doc and cm heals (the amount, not the speed). Jedi heals are preset to 500, 1000, 1500. Only thing I can see having healing proficiency is if your gonna have some medic to do your grind until you get 4000 healer (or whatever amount in healing you want).
For a full templated jedi, healing efficiency does you no good.
Also, you could swap the bandolier for a special ops back pack (I think that's the name). It comes with melee and ranged defense and 2 other mods on it already. However, the downside is that you can't put anymore SEA's in it and the MD and RD only comes in the amounts of +5 and +3 I think. The good thing though is you have 50 more space to carry stuff. Only reason I mention this is because I have one and the space is much needed as I often have my inv. filled with crates of foods, pearls, various sabers, rifles and a few other odds and ends. With all the other sockets on the rest of the clothes, it's more than enough sockets to get the SEA's a jedi needs. Also, it's better to get SEA's in the +10 or more range. This conserves sockets and if done right, you won't even need every socket on every peice of clothing.
Just be careful of the SEA's that have multiple mods on it. The devs changed is so that now all mods on a SEA stick to the clothing (use to be the highest stat would be the only one to stick). So if you have a +5 general melee accuracy, +2 heavy weapons speed. Both of them will stick taking up 2 sockets. In the case that you only have one socket left. The item first on the list will be the only one to stick (at least that's how it's happened everytime I've done it, but I haven't done a lot of testing with SEA's).

What will be funny is if the devs make it so we can't wear ahat, gloves, and beltat the same timelol. After the M.Belt fiasco anything is possible. If I remember the devs specifically stated they want Jedi to choose between the robes mods or SEA's on clothes. I'm sure that is the reason they'll give when we can't wear anything but our pjs.

Vigocke is mtailor, have a completed template padawan on same account (used to be a knight but no longer)
I'd always reccomend two items of terrain negotiation BE clothing and one healing efficiency and the lightweight military pack for carrying capacity
sockets for SEA are randomly generated , but it is posssible to ask the tailor to craft until he gets 4sockets and pay for all the tailor makes (this can get a bitexpensive when doing with BE clothing averagely you will be paying for 5items and getting 1)
the list of socketed clothing is correct for most species, but generally jackets rather than specifically duster. Trandoshians cannot wear boots , wookie have mainly their own set of clothing and can wear BE combat shoulder pads and BE combat bandolier/backpack
pants , shirt , jacket and bandolier can take combat BE mods (the non combat mods will generally be no use)
and mod caps at +25 so you will need 2 items to get this 25 and any more is wasted
bandolier cannot be worn with backpacks, PSG cannot be worn with belts
in summary pants and shirt with terrain negotiation (the unarmed damage that comes with TN will probabbly be wasted)
Jacket with healing efficiency
lightweight military pack

also, dont forget about akuuan rings.
you can squeeze in 10 ranged defense without takeing any clothes slots or sockets there. though with teh melee/ranged Bio clothes, they arent that big of a deal, but figured its worth mentioning.
also worth mentioning is after you cap melee/ranged defense, teh third clothes item dosnt have to be healing efficency for stims, i have +17 terrain negotiation in my pants which is really handy too
