If I had a guess, they would do NOTHING considering there seems to be no force bar that I've seen.

those would be the quest reward ones. current holos did not gain any attributes when ToOW came live although holos with attributes were introduced. I ususpect that the present holos will be pretty useless except for house decorations. If intrepid comes live as a test server i have tons of holos banked and will post in the unlikely event any gain attributes

I dont want to start any rumors that aren't true, but i just logged my jedi in on TC Ahazi. He used to have 3 light and 3 dark holocrons in his inventory. Now they are gone, completely disappeared form inventory.

It would be nice if the holos gave abilities. Any ideas as to what abilities they would give and what quests give them?

They have not yet decided what to convert these items into.

Maybe if we are lucky they will become little boxes that display our old Skill trees when you examine them.

Based on what they chose to do to the one year veteran reward I do not have much hope for holocrons being very useful.

on test center ahazi all my holocrons did the pre jedi thing for me " hums but does nothing"
