Thread: Wouldnt you just like for the devs to come clean and tell us why they are doing this to jedi?

Drop a 6 from your forum name and add Order in front of that number and you have your answer...

They won't. Too many people would quit if the devs were honest. By lying they can keep people on the hook longer....

It may be an assumption of my own but I think they don't know themselves.
With the introduction of the CU they created a totally new combat system that quite obviously wasn't properly tested.
They are constantly making changes because basically the game is being redesigned little by little and with them adding on additional things makes that process take even longer.
The game is in a hybrid state between it's original design and that of EQ and WOW. Since it's based on neither it is it's own unique form in some ways andis basically a work in progress.
This work in progress is unstable in many ways and in trying to promote subscribers off the Episode III movie release with new expansions is making it more difficult to stabilize.

One major prob was the pre cu game still was in beta after almost 2 years. Still was full of bugs, exploits and overpowered melee stackers. I really do not think they will get the new system cleaned up any faster. Everytime i see a new patch it seems to be following the same path they used to try and fix the old system. Insted of fixing something they use the nerf button.

After the CU went live and all the Jedi start popping up everywhere, Tiggs openly stated that there will be an Order 66 and we're all going to be hit hard. She just wouldn't elaborate on that statement. I'm guessing all this nerfs are what she was referring to.

Tiggs made a reference to Order 66? Could someone post a link, please? I missed it and would like to read it for myself.
Any idea when this statement was made? Sometimes they say things and then hope we'll forget once they've changed their minds.

Tiggs never said that. You had to read that into the statement.

Actually Tiggs did say that. She also openly said that she thinks theres too many Jedi in the game and something should be done about it.
I honestly do not feel like digging it up =P
But I assure you, she did say that Jedi have an Order 66 coming and that we're gonna be hit hard.

So true, having watched the "story" of SWG for over 4 years now I can say the devs have NEVER had a clear idea of what this game was or is supposed to be.
Changing the design and even the dev team every year and its no wonder the game is as buggie as it is.
As for Tiggs and her "order 66".... please since when did a dev every say something that actually got done, as promised,in game...
