I call BS on this post. I tuned 20 pearls and 15 fair crystals post pub 24 and got a handfull over 80, including a 83 -9FC and a high of 93 dmg from a pearl, I also got a max of 81 damage from a fair crystal. With 500 tunes, I GUARANTEE that you would have a tune over 60.

Tunes are "broken"... they are just random. Just because you didn't get one over 60 doesn't mean others aren't. There is no 'EASY' button here and if you want to get good crystals/pearls then you just need to keep getting them and tuning them until you get what you need. I have tuned somewhere around 75-100 crystals/pearls and am a post-CU Jedi and the lowest dmg one in my 4th Gen Saber is a 91.... so it is possible.

not bush!t i recently tuned 14 good, 6 quality pearls, and about 12 fair and 14 good clear crystals only good thing was 4 of the pearls were about on average 55/55 -.15 and -7fc so i can still havea gen 4 saber at 20fc and im only 0020 ls so it only gets better as a padanoob my gen 4 dbl saber does 300-400 damage and with the banes i got 130 electric damage so after spending about 100mil on thosepre-cu pearls and other im also out of pre patch 21 ca's and aa's from the aakuans so that means im about out of money. but my alt will get me some more pearls also the best damage ive gotten so far is 68/68 but crappy speed and only -3 fc so, but good luck.

Sad but true. Though I'm doing ok in the dmg department (630 max) my FC is horrible (30). Even if I put all the best tunes FC wise in my 4th gen I end up with a 22 FC saber but drops my max dmg to 422. 149 tunes and counting.

I probably tuned 200 or so good crystals and pearls and I got a couple over 100 and the others are in the 90's. So, it can be done.

i must be lucky, my entirely post cu saber is 645 max, 24 fc, 1.5 mod speed, ive only had 1 premium pearl ever and its my best thing in there, i think i got 2 fairs in there and 1 good, i could get to around 670 damage but i found that the speed wasnt very good and the fc was a bit higher, although i guess if speed is buggedi should go for all damage

but i do agree, tunes need to be adjusted, i mean i can tune 20 fair and get one useable tune, but i could tune 15 goods and get all crap

Just because you did doesn't mean someone else didn't.

I know someone who tuned LOADS of flawless pearls a long time ago and never got a single pertect tune.

500 tunes... not 50, not 5, not 100..... 500 tunes and nothing higher than 67 damage? BS, the chances of that happening are lower than surviving a direct assault on an imperial star destroyer

Let's trade Jedi then - you can have my museum house full of wasted tunes and the lovely Gen4 494max Dmg/208.25 base DPS/27FC saber I have andI will take yours with the ability to tune every crystal and pearl perfectly.

This post seems exaggerated and unrealistic, I have now seen posts from others that specifically list each of their 300 tunes and according to their stats - you should have gotten at least 5 - 10 good tunes over 80.

tuned a total of 18 crystals good/fair got a max damage 600 saber with 32 fc (a novice ls crafted one with one exp point)

I'm not sure what you're doing wrong... perhaps you are the one that's borked

Or I'm having bothan luck =)
