Form a business perspevtive, yes that what this game is its a business. If you feel that the devs made a mistake and things are so bad, Just stop paying for it. As long as they get your $ they could really care less what your opinions are. If you arent happy cancle your account and dont look back. If you are kinda disatisfied and unpahhy but not raging mad. Just wait it out...im nto saying things will be fixed but flaming and ranting does NOTHING.

When enogugh people realise this, quit the game and then the financing of the company goes down. Once the business isnt supporting itself, either changes will be made or it will ceise to exist.

Simply put if you stop paying they might start listening.

The point is they should care. As a business the loss of revenue is enough to change their approach. Unfortunately you are correct that the only way to exact change is to hit them in the wallet. BUT if I may add that this is just not a one time purchase of X dollars. This is a continuing investment of many peoples time and money. SoE by making this game available to the consumer is implying that it is a finished product and is working as intended, which as we all know, it's not. Which in turn allows us as the paying consumer of a product AND a service to voice our dislikes in hopes that those in charge will institute changes to make the product function as intended.

when i have money invested in something i expect a return. when the return's aren't what they should be I reinvest in something else. you're totally correct. and my money is being invested into another mmorpg this month that i really enjoy playing. the fun value is my return, and i'm having more fun with the other game already.

i do love Star Wars though. KOTOR is on standby if I start to have withdrawl.

I think what SOE fails to see is that if people didn't care deep down about this game,there would not be a huge protest like we are seeing. This game has been a fairly big part of my life since i started playing it on opening day. People on here are good friends. I care about and want to see the game thrive,not be constantly nerfed to the point where unless i can play for 10 hours a day, I can't progress.

yeah, Rhys, it's not easy. But my stuff will go to my brother and my friends. I'm more of a giver than a taker. I've lost time, for sure, and I have an attachment to my character...been on since launch. Overall I've had a blast, but it's seriously just not fun for me now. It hasn't been for a while. I'll keep an eye on it, for sure. Aside from my combat toon I have shipwright, which I really really love. Eve is like an expansion on a theme of that for me, and I'm having a blast. And the mostly European community so far has shown nothing but grace, maturity, good nature, humor, and fun.

Ok, gotta go for reals this time. I salute you all
