Thread: What do you base your template off of?

I based my template on what I wanted.

I wanted MLS so i took it

I wanted Aura so i took it

I wanted force armour so i took it

I wanted fr2 so i took it...

I could go on. Basically I always wanted MLS so i took it (ever since playing jedi pre-12 I wanted mls on my own toon)

I based my template off the single skill I wanted to have more than any other: force choke.


Obviously, that necessitates Master Powers. The rest of my template (LS x4x4, Enhancer 34x2, Healer 4xxx) flowed from there, in that I wanted to still be able to deal out some damage in both PvE and PvP (LS x4x4); with that in place, healer 4xxx is a prerequisite, no matter whether I took lines in defender or enhancer. I went with enhancer.


We'll see how this works out over time, especially after the advent of the new FRS.

I based it off what I wanted.


I wanted: Cloak, Choke, Good Healing, Aura, Channel, FR1, Good Defenses, and Armor Break.


I ended up with: I ended up with M-Powers, 3402 Enh, 4040 Def, 4000 Heal. I didn't want to thin myself out too muchget armor break so I didn't, /shrug.

My design was based on my play style. I do not enage in alot of PvP and am usually special forces just for the added risk while running around solo.


The rollplay concept was a basis of the design as well.


I'm a Rodian with a gun thatshoots black holes and eats planets!!

I based mine off the fact that I loved being a TKM melee stacker/tank PRE-CU (innate armor/COB (aura)), the way I like to play, and suggestions made on the forums.

I have yet to base my template on anything. Not until I grind out at least 3-4 more combos. Then I will simply base it on what worked best for me. So Far I have mastered Defender, Enhancer, and Lightsabers. Not gonna bother with healer, but need to try some powers combos. MPowers/MEnhancer/Healer 4040 looks very fun to play.

Ya that menhancer mpowers temp is the "mage" temp for jedi and looks very fun for those who like that role in combat. I like being a tanker myself so I have had both enhancer and defender. An older jedi here and I still am trying to decide my final template, and still trying to get that last pearl for my saber thast has eluded me for 6 months lol. I will find you my precious, yes I will, Oh yes I will. Mua haha hahaha (lost my sanity while grinding jedi, just like you all will!)

I based my temp on fun skills and RP abilities... MLS/MP/enh 2xx3/ nov healer fits my Dark Jedi-ness just rite =)

I based mine off two pre reqs. One, it had to fun, and different, not a FOTM. Two, it had to give BHs nightmares.


MP, 0400 LS, 4004 enh, 0040 def, 4000 healer.
