yeah same for me, i was a def stacker, killed full temp pre 9's all the time. 98 % resist composite FTW

I was a glass cannon pre CU. Powers was absolute crap due to 90% Lightning resistant Comp, Defense Stackers that you could never hit, 2k Tick Poisons, Insane Looted Mind Fire Pikes, and ADK LS resistant PSG.


If you were an MLS with ME, or MH and fight clubbed for Force Armor bonuses then yes it was great for a PRE CU Jedi.

the only power pre 9 was the ability to heal self like a doc, run around like a headless chicken and effectively swoop by people damaging them, while saber throwing all the time. FR had no damagea reduction

it sure was fun

now a fencer using bugged scatter hit on you, ouchie, painful.

that was it - Master Dancer had more defences than a 4-4-4-4 Guardian. Remember that

yes but back then, in comparison to now, jedis had true power. If u look at this template TKM, 4040 fencer, 0040 swords, 4004 doc, and i think is was 0004 pikes. Im not for sure on the temp. I think im close. This can own just about anything in the game. I have seen a person with a similar temp absolutely destroy 2 jedis... and yes they are not bad pvpers. So your orgional temp is still somewhat a power house.

My point was pre 9 jedis had alot more power than we do now.

forget all of the come backs. I know what defence stacking was, and I know about 90% comp. not everyone was as ubar as all of u or as rich. All im trying to say is that pre 9 jedis had alot more abilities. even after publish 9 and pre CU. What we have become is absolutely lame. I bothers me that I worked my butt off for my jedi, grinded through TEF's, BH's coming for me inspecific, Raid parties...and the like. And now, I get owned by normal temps.(and I dont just mean bearly beaten either) If u think im just a sucky jedi, or dont know what im doing, then thats on you. Ill tell u this though, I play my normal toon more than my jedi now, it is alot moer powerful, and on bloodfinmost BH's know how to play thier templates, and I have been hit for 1100 damage by a rifleman, and I have had to fight a MBH/MCM, and yes they totally own face(if they know what they are doing). My question is why should I have to have Mdefender to fight these temps in order to maybe stand up to them, just to have the MBH/MCM paralyse me and sit there, while every dot ticks on me for a butt load. I heal heal heal heal heal, eventually either incap, run out of force, mind or the like. depends on how long the fight has lasted. Or i have to FR2 away,oh ya butthe snare has impeded that as well and he just hops on a bike follows me and reapplies everything that was just removed. I guess Force Cloak FOR THE SAVE. just what I like to do, run and kite. Sounds like a good time, for a profession that took me for ever to grind, and alot of deciding what i wanted to make it. But hey all of you are just so ubar and none of u have any problems with anything in the game, heck I bet most of u NEVER lose a duel. I wish i could be just that ubar.

My god all of u need to open your eyes, if some of u say "I have never lost to a BH," i applaud u, and if some of u really have never lost to a bh, transfer over to bloodfin. U will definately lose to a bh. Sorry guys im not that ubar, and I see alot of my friends that have been playing jedi for along time get absolutely owned by the normal temps that are starting to pop up. So maybe, just maybe some of us are tellingthings from our expierences.

I dont know if you were talking about your armour as a seperate issue, but pre pub 9 there was lightsabre damage so your 98% would have been no good.

No, Pre 9 was kinetic sabers with 1700 max dmg.

After P9 and before the CU they gave us our own special LS damage, and then gave everyone else LS resistant PSG that could take an ADK.

Well so are we. A defense stacked player with an ADK LS resistant PSG, and a speed capped 1200dmg power hammer eating synth and loaded up on all the other foods and a mind crystal was insane. Forget about the Uber looted Pikes and Spider CM poisons.

I could tank a MDef, MLS Jedi till he ran out of force any day of the week. A powers Jedi would never hit me, and all an Enhancer could do was run away.

The only Jedi that were doing well vs a non Jedi that knew what they were doing were the Jedi that got to the top of the FRS by fightclubbing, and even they had major problems with Dots.
