3 months without a clue, starting point, or even a indication of the jedi system working, how long can this go on?

Ihave personally had enough of this secretness.I did not buy the game to be a jedi, but i have mastered many professions, many months back and jedi is all thats left.

Why the hell is getting a force sensitive slot so hard to do? There needs to be a clear, but very dificult path for it, or hell even a starting point would make me happy. Jedi is supposed to be the goal, not FS, DONT MAKE FS A MYSTERY.

I like to grind xp and try to be the most powerful player i can be, I hate doing nobel quests/other useless quests.I like worthwhile things in a game.I'm done PVPing and mob killing, its time for jedi grinding...

pls send feedback...(not go play jedi knight)

This forum is the last place you want to post this sort of thing, strange eh? Anyway, you'd have better luck getting the DEvs to see your post in the general forum, or via sendin feedback. Still ify tho. While you're at it, tell them i said to stick perma-death up their asses, i dont pay them each month so i can lose my character. I pay them so i can keep it.

Fellstaff et al, Terakasi has a legitimate complaint, regardless of its true merit. From the various posts written by the developers before and after launch, it is very clear that force sensitivity was not meant to be so elusive. The only evidence we have that unlocking the slot is even possible or reasonable is one quote by Raph Koster weeks ago, stating that progress was being made by various players.

This is disingenuous, because it does not provide proof that the unlocking mechanism works and that no notification to the players involved is made about the progress. As such, Mr. Koster could be incorrect in his assertion. However, seeking such proof is futile at best. The development team wants to keep the unlocking mechanism secret for as long as possible. This makes great business sense. Revealing parts or the whole too soon does not make good business sense. It is obvious which path will be taken.

I do question the announcement of progress being made. The announcement merely serves to dangle the unreachable carrot in front of all readers, and this is simply rude. The developers should have remained silent, as they have at every other point thus far.

Instead of berating someone for their opinion or their "audacity" to post about it, why not discuss the issue in an intelligent manner? Logical arguments are more convincing than one-line personal attacks. If you are unable to provide a counterpoint to a particular topic, at least provide some sort of entertainment value beyond what amounts to "your stupid". The savvy reader will see the irony in that last statement.

Thank you for the sanity, Minimized. I clicked on this post to see some logical discussion and thoughts from fellow players, and Terakasi does have a legitimate complaint. You are right, the devs will keep this stuff under wraps for as long as possible, because for all you Jedi-chasing players out there it'll keep you on the game. They figure to keep more people than they'll lose by having you run down the profession. Frustrating too say the least, but business is business. Have fun with the manhunt.

hate doing Noble quests/other useless quests? Strangely that doesn't sound like jedi talk to me. But then again I'm not a Jedi either so I guess I can't judge.

well they did say you won't open the slot by just staring at a wall or grinding exp (repetitive actions)
