Elder Jedi > Normal Jedi(because of better robes and LS)
Normal Jedi = Regular Proff(because all the new classes are "balanced")
Elder Jedi > Regular Proff???
Yes, the new Jedi proffession is supposed to be equal to all the others, HOWEVER, the Elder Jedi are supposed to be stronger than the new Jedi. So does that mean:
*the Elders will be the same strength as the others proffessions and the newjedi will be weaker than the normal proffessions,
or does it mean
*the newJedi will be equalto the other normal proffessionsand the elders will be stronger?
If the elders are stronger than the new Jedi, there is no way both the new jedi and the elders can both be equal to the games other proffessions.

You'd think this would be obvious. They're dumbing this game down so that pre-teens can understand it and use their mother's credit cards to buy it, so you'd think they'd make it a little less confusing.

I'd imagine elder jedi's equipment will be different in mostly in terms of looks and perhaps some minor token abilities.

There will be a crystal with slightly higher stats given to elders. It was said early on that with the new combat system and collision system that balancing to the point of insanity will no longer be necessary as it will be based mostly on the player's skill and not on the equipment and skills he or she has.

If I understand whats been said
Elder Jedi > Normal Jedi = Normal Professions
Thats the way it reads to me.
And that Elder Jedi > Normal Jedi part is by a slim margin. The unique color crystal will do slightly more damage than a normal crystal. The Blue Glowie status is simply cosmetic, and the robes have slightly higher defenses.
Thats just the way it reads to me.

That has got to be the most dreadful thought about this whole monstrosity. What really stinks is just how right you are.

It sounds like the difference will the dmg between someone who has Banes/Sunriders and someone who doesn't - i.e. negligible.
