I worked hard to get my saber boxes so I could craft a better saber (back then we had to earn the higher gen sabers.) Only time I got hunted pre CU was when I helped out a friend n IG wife kill krayts for their premium pearls so she could trade 6 of them for an ADK. (Back when the imps n rebs were fighting for the krayt population). Died helping her fight a krayt. 100k xp loss there. Didnt care that much cause I usually got 200k to 300k in 3 hr grind. The day after that I got killed by a bh afk while waiting for a buff. (Knew the bh. Him n me have been hating each other for different reasons for awhile.) That pissed me off just cause of who it was. SO I was 700k in the hole after dying twice. I got out of it n back to work.

On Lok one day I stumbled across a wild gurk lair. So I start fighting it n then 3 boss gurks spawn. So Im here fighting for my life using everything I had even had to use force of will to get up yet I still died. From that point forward I really didnt care about xp loss anymore. The xp I got from my grind made up for it quite easily.

Now post CU. Jedi grinding has become totally easy. All you need is a decent spin group and you could be raking in 500k to 800k easily. Now you get a 4th gen saber at the beginning of your grind. You dont have to wait till master saber to make and use one.

Even still, xp loss really isnt that big of a deal anymore. BH's cant directly target you anymore for killing, we no longer have death xp loss. Out of all the things that are broken with this class, not to mention the whole imbalance of power, why do you complain about bh xp loss?

I think you miss the point. There is no one that would not want that back in a heartbeat. But the Pre-CU we were very powerful, and if you had mls then you would just spam dervish and not worry about anything. With the exception of the TKM/PSG bh's there wasn't much that was a threat.

These days just having a jedi does not and really has not been an acceptable reason for xp loss. We aren't powerful anymore, and xp loss just creates grieving and hate. It was never a useful method to control jedi and was really only in place to prevent farming players for credits.

I was pre-cu, I loved it. You have to understand something else though that almost ALL pre-cu jedi forget.

After the CU, you got vis. Period. It was not avoidable. You needed to group to level. So the new jedi found themselves on the terminals way before they could defend themselves.

That makes a huge difference. Its better now, but still very hard to stay off the terminals when grinding involves other people. Not all group members understand the system and most won't care either.

I can tell you this, I'll take the pre-cu grind everytime. I know I might have had at most 1 bh visit during my grind. Since I had to finish the last 1/4 of my template post-cu I had close to 25bh's to deal with. Thats rough for everyone, especially someone just starting out.

for one....we don't get 500k-800k exp per hour lol We are similiar to pre-CU standards of grinding now that everything is back to normal (AKA no double exp or respecs...)

secondly, why care about post-CU Jedi? Your pre-CU grind earned you the reward of playing in the pre-CU world....same si said of pre-patch 9 Jedi. I envy you all, and would give any easy grind up for the chance to feel like a real Jedi.

So why are you so busy crying and whining to us about it being easy? It might be easier to some but we sure as hell don't get the same rewards you guys had pre-CU for our easier work.

So realize this:

We post-CU Jedi have experienced much less of Jedi than anyone before us to the point Jedi doesn't feel like Jedi anymore....so instead of whining about their whines (ironic eh?) give us the pity of never experiencing a REAL Jedi experience....

No all I have seen for the past week has been jedi whining about losing xp and asking for xp loss to be removed. And the xp an hr thing is probably a typo. Sry didnt spell check or grammer check it that well.

Grinding back then was the best times I had playing on my jedi.

Right now jedi has too many problems to deal with than some xp loss.

I agree. However, before they removed visibility from group members, post-cu jedi were screwed. You can't grind solo as a new jedi, post cu, unless you drop your previous skills and lower your combat level as far as it will go. When i first got jedi, i tried to solo lvl 79-80 critters and i simply could not do it in any feasible way. At least pre-cu easy critters still gave you some xp.After the cu, it seems jedi were forced to group hunt and forced to be on the BH terms if they wanted to advance. Iimagine it was a tough time to be a young jedi.

I do agree that now that we cannot comlain too loudly about xp loss.I waskilled once while grinding and gained back the 400k xp the same day.Bounty hunters say "if you don't want to be hunted, don't get visibility."While grinding i think this is pretty reasonable. If you play smart you shouldn't haveBHs knocking on your door every day. As a near full temp, though, all bets are off. i will play my character and do what i want, BHs or not.

We were a wee bit too powerful back then IMO. Saber block was ungodly high n all the fight clubbers make a mockery of the FRS. Yet back then things were at least somewhat balanced too. There were melee/bhs that could hold their own against some of the best jedi out there. Back then everyone who grinded a profession earned it.

All Im saying is that we should go for getting our own profession balanced than just ask for an even easier ride.

Jedi skills are completely different in advancement and pre-req than anyone else. It doesn't make sense that we should be balanced with a metal sword holding character.

I would not mind at all leaving the GCW as a jedi. Then what would normal players have to complain about? We could be jedi in the true sense as well. Its a win/win. You could still GCW PVP with your alt.

pathetic! man what is your main malfunction? really? we have just been slapped agian with more nerfs on a screwed up publish and still all you care about is playing these stupid gamesabout pre this post that ect ect.. you where no pre pub 9 you had no perma death andsounds like you had the survival instincs of a possum on I 95 and yet now you cry about how easy it is.. dont refused to solo group and call your self captain jedi the one who saved the jedi prof when it was a choice you made.

and you think every jedi is spinning and every jedi was afk on wook planet. you should know better when we have every other person on the game that think we jedi are all the same (jerks). you cannot point fingures at anyone personwho is a jedi and throw them in one groupcause you know theres sploiters in every prof but if ya need to go ahead and time stamping jedi and help get us even more nerfed and continue the jedi infighting go right ahead!!! did ya ever think jedi was nerfed by actions you have taken? no didnt think so!!!
