Thread: Proof that crystals/pearls do not have predetermined stats but are in fact random upon tuning!

Alright, Bria crashes a lot, everyone knows this. I tuned a quality crystal off a DJM about 2 hours ago, it was O.K. but unusable for me at 76/76 -7. Bria then crashed. It's back up and I have my untuned crystal back due to rollback. I retuned it. 39/39 -3. I knew I should've just sold it for a couple but I bit the bullet and locked away one more debate on these forums.

Nice info. No practical application for myself, but as you said it should end any debating on the matter... unless it was a bug

Random with a greater chance of getting a higher tune based on the quality of the pearl.

I have yet to see any reason to believe this. I tuned 30 quality's the other day, all unusable. Nothing lower than -5 FC or over 80 damage

Statistically speaking you could tune 50 pearls and not see it. One would need to tune athousand or thousands of pearls to test accuratly.

This has been known since per publish 9. Server were copied and untuned pearls tuned differently on the live server than ones that were copied to the testing server.

I could have told you that, one think we did notice back preCU my and my room mate tuned them at the seem time and would oftan get the same tunes if we were exact at it.
