I come to these boards from time to time, read up on a few theories and such. One theory I've seen several times is the titleless NPC theory. Ii actually thought that was a pretty neat idea so now when I'm in a new town I look around for some title less npcs. I found one in Moenia, and hit converse. All he said was "Not55yet" just like that. I just stared for a minute, then thought about it. Not 55, like a standing of 55? Then that kinda proves the 'jedi experience' bar thing doesn't it? I was just really surprised to get this message. :-)

I've also noticed, while looking up creature stats in the back of the guidebook, that some of the titleess npcs I've found so far are listed there. I thought that was odd. Any ideas?

I think I got a similiar message from an NPC but I can't remember where and I have no clue as to what it meant.

Im not sure exactly because i was doing a mission for a guy but i couldnt complete it because all he would say is Notit and then some # that is the guy before hon you probably know who im talking about.

what's weird is also in Moenia, there's a guy that has a first name, Q3, and then a last name, and his title is (retired) One of my friends pointed out no other NPCs have middle names, and then added what if there are Q1 and Q2? ie, quest 1,2,3? Kkinda makes you wonder... :-)

i think it means you need 55% of the force sensitive xp bar to talk to that npc....

or....

that npc is using 1337 talk.....

just gotta figure out what fills up the dam thing.

we have a lot of water but we don't know what kool-aid to put in since it could be any....

Every little bug that is discovered and you go "I feel the force... it was just so weird that the NPC said "Null String" ... it must mean something." Convinient for the developers though. Well I'm glad on behalf of your sanity that this game doesn't really have many bugs or you would surely all be completely insane by now.

look for the missions you dont get credits

Eh naw I had the same thing happen to me on the Solo missions. When your working for his underling..maybe like the fifth mission. You have to go buy a part to repair the Millenium Falcon from a thief npc. Well i get near the freaker and all of a sudden he just says "You have the money?....good.". So i sit there waiting for something to happen. There is no converse option and he doesnt attack me. So I just pop him in the head, he is yellow by the way. I get a system message saying "return to REBEL HIDEOUT for reward when i'm on Lok and doing missions on Lok for Solo. So i think nothing of it and walk back to the person who gave me the mission. He says "Wrong63Item". I'm like "say what?". I do the mission again...same ending...again...same ending. I guess it just happens when the coding just gets all freaked up. Thats just speaking from the barrel though.

yea and you think the code for jedi is working? pffftt it's as screwed up as everything else in this game

Don't read to much into it. I had that happen when I talked to Thrawn before I was alowed to do his missions. I think it's just a glitch in the speach programming.

I have done every single Title-less npc on tatooine, except Jabbas, Darklighters, faction, and three bugged npcs. However two of the npc's said things like this.

Captain Loftusin Mos Entha, when you converse, he says "Next". That is it, nothing else.

Fixer in Anchorhead, when you converse and accept the mission he says, "Npcnoloc1".

I personally think they are bugged.
