You have no idea how happy MOST of us are that SL got a major revamp. It was needed, and along with Smuggler, mostly deserved one.
The shame of it is, SL will now experience a LOT of people grinding (Or using saved Respecs) to SL in order to make use of it. I wish this weren't true, but we all know it is - SL has now become part of a FoTM template. That does NOT bode well for the SL profession - Eventually the devs come back to the FoTM elements and "fix" them. The sad part is those SL that have stuck with the profession through thick and thin will be punished by the power seekers hunger for a winning template.
Hopefully, we can learn something from the SL revamp - Results CAN be had without rants and whining.

hey guys, I was just wondering what you did not like about the new publish, seems ancient krayts will take a group again, DWB wont be able to take down my novice scout and survive alone, seems like good stuff to me, I am just wondering what everyone was so pissy about?

Its 6 months of built of frustration from not only the jedi community. Its a well overdue bang, and SOE is getting what they deserve.

well I have to say that there is two things I don't like that happened in the last 6 months,
#1) Combat Log going away
#2) Not being able to pwn 6 bh's at one time
other than these two things I think the game has gotten better

i don't think any of this uproar is souly based on the publish 24... like the others have said, this is just the result of a ticking time bomb, bound to go off... it had a long fuse, but the end result was innevitable... now it's time to reep the whirlwind, they had it coming... and now we're finally laying into them the only way we know how

True...but during the time you were waiting on things being fixed you didn't have to worry about someone walking up to you and randomly ganking the hell out of you, and setting you back.
