The problem is that we are in a constant arms race. The system must return to a closer state of equilibrium before such a measure can be taken.
Simply improving pearls and crystals will have an enormous effect, but first the SL buffs, snares, and even medicine nerfs have to be muddled through.
All of that should have been done on beta...but we all know we pay to beta test, so that is never going to happen. SOE just doesn't understand how to do that.
I would be the first to say I want my 24 points back...just so I can do more things with my template...it isn't about strength, but fun and variety. I just don't think we yet know how this is going to play out or if 24 SPs are going to completely imbalancing.
As of right now, without any changes to the abortion of pub 24, I think we do deserve them back...I just hope the devs get wacked with the smart stick and come to their senses...

The idea has been presented many times already.
Yes it would be nice, but all that would happen is that we would get more nerfs to scale us back down.
I personally think the force sensitive tracks should be free as the skill benefit is negligable. The skill point cost is not worth the minimal benifit (if any) you get from the skill trees.
I really like that idea its not as if they do anything for you so why not,
so yes it would be a great start.
