Thread: Book/Movie Templates
Recently someone posted on the forums asking for a template for Obi-Wan Kenobi. After people had given him advice someone sent me a forum mail asking me about a template for Mace Windu. Since a lot of people want to base their characters off of the different Jedi/Sith in the Movies and books I have done my best to come up with Templates for each different character based on their abilities in the movies and books. I may have a few different templates per a character based on different things:
Obi-Wan Kenobi (Episode 2 & 3)
Master Defender
Sabers 0404
Powers 0402
Enhancer 2002
Healer 0000
Rational: Obi-Wan is a survivor through and through. He chose a style based on blocking blasters and was able to survive Darth Maul and a fight with Anakin Skywalker. He was able to survive the purge of the Jedi and in the end chose when to die. He had the ability to cloak (seen in Episode 3) and Force Push. He has channel force, but has sacrificed most of his healing skill for it.
NOTE: Obi-Wan has been one of the most debated templates on this thread. A lot of people think he should be a MLS/MDEF/Healer3000/enahncer0002. I personally can not see Obi-Wan being so limited. Additionaly I have looked into giving him MLS, but have decided that he mastered a defensive style. Based on one person telling me he is fast, therefor he should be MLS, I gave Obi-Wan Ehancer 2xxx. This way he has force speed 1 and force run.
Qui-Gon Jinn (Episode 1)

Rational: Qui-Gon is an old school Jedi. He doesn’t have any defender which caused his death in episode, but has replaced it with many good abilities. He had some powers including force push and some Jedi Mind trick (not in the game anymore). He has good healing abilities and is almost a Master Enhancercharacter. If only he had gotten that Master Box he could have used regain con. after the duel with Maul.
Mace Windu (Episode 2&3)

Rational: Mace is a no nonsense Jedi. He is a fighter through and through. He is strong in fighting and defense, but has few powers. Not much needs to be said on this because there’s not much to say

Rational: Much like movie Mace this Mace is a strong fighter. However, he has replaced some defender and healer to gain the force push ability.

Rational: I personally have not yet read Shatterpoint, but based on suggestions given to me by other forum users I have created a more or less Windu template for anyone who has read that. I hope this works well for everyone.
Yoda (Episodes 1-3)

Rational: Meditate he does. Fast he is. Strong in enhancer…. Yeeesss. Defense does he have to live long. Force Push does he have….. Lift X-wing’s he can…..

Rational:Anikan Studied a more agressive lightsaber form than Obi-Wan did. He sacrificced training in defense for this and in the end payed dearly for it with 2 hands and two legs.However, Anakin afraid of letting people die learned a little more healing than Obi-Wan, but was never able to use it.
NOTE: Based on people's requests I have re-examined Anakin and made him a Master Sabers
Darth Vader

Rational: Vader submitted to the power of the dark side and learned Master powers. He gained the ability of Force Choke. He also started using his saber one handed and sacrificed much of his saber skill for his powers skill. no one is quite sure why he gimped himself this way. like many Mpowers he most likely did this to look cool.He no longer cares about healing others and cares more about defending himself.
Palpatine (Episode 3)

Rational: Palpatine is evil…. Pure evil. He has Master Powers to make his force lightning do as much damage as it can. He also was able to use a saber to kill 3 jedi although not Mace. Not to mention how many times we thought he should be dead but seemed to come back (Mostly in the books).
Palpatine (Episode 6)

Rational: No longer needing a saber Palpatine has switched it to defense. Since Episode 6 takes place after Galaxies we can only assume Powers is finally fixed.
Luke Skywalker (Episode 6)

Novice Healer
Rational: Luke choked Gamoreans and used a lot of Powers. He was also able to use sabers very well and was good at defense. He had a little less ranged defense and his mechanical hand paid for it in Episode 6.
Corran Horn:

Rational: Corran was never able to tap into the force to alter things around him but always was able to enhance his own abilities and adsorb powers from others. He, Like Obi-Wan has good defense and, like Yoda is a Master Enhancer. He uses two handed lightsabers and, as said above, Can not use any powers or Healer
Darth Maul:
Master Defender

Novice Enhancer
BH 3000
Rational: Maul Had to be a Master Defender. He was able to hold his own against two jedi at once and didn't die at all until obi-Wan got mad.he had a double sided lightsaber and was very fast with it. He used BH droids to track jedi meaning he probably had BH 3000
NOTE: I have added BH 3000 due to popular demand. Some people have said I should make him part TKA, but I think that all tka reference is due to his saber animations and good defender defenses
Count Dooku:
Master Powers

Master Sabers
Rational: Dooku Was able to shoot lightning and knockdown, we all saw that. He also was able to choke Obi-Wan in Episode 3. He is mostly a Glass cannon, and could take down obi-wan in 2 swings. However, he did have some defense, able to defend most attacks from just one person.
Aalya Secura

Novice Healer
Rational: Aalya was very good at sabers but, much like Obi-Wan, used her skills for defense rather than offense. She was taught Jedi stealth techniques from her master qhich she used to escape death right before she was killed by her own troops (note she did die by the clones, but almst died before that.)
Kyle Katarn (Lightside)

Novice Defender
Rational: When you play Kyle on the light side you get a lot of enhancer powers, Force run, force armor, force shield. He always uses two handed sabers no matter which side you choose. He also is able to turn invisable (force cloak) and has force push. He also gains light side healing abilities.
Kyle Katarn (Dark Side)

Rational: Kyle on the dark side is dark. He has force drain and force run, but for the most part is full offense. He is a total glass cannon. He has choke, lightning, death vision (no skill for it but its cool). he also has abilaties that ake him better with his saber, but has no defense abilites
Plo Koon

Rational: Plo-Koon is one of the few jedi to use force lightnig. He is strong in the force and is a great member of the councel. He has the Saber Dervish technique and strong defense. He also is not one to say no to a good few hours of meditation with his friend Shakk-Ti or Qui-gon Jinn
Ki-Adi Mundi

Rational: Ki-Adi Mundi is a great leader of Jedi. He is this way because hs abilities allow him to stay on the forfront and also help other jedi. He, unlike many jedi, uses aone handed saber. He has good force armor and is able to heal damage and wounds of his troops
Shakk-Ti
Master Enhancer

Rational: Shakk-Ti was a peaceful jedi mediator. She didn't use her lightsaber much instead relying on negotiations. She was a strong practictioner of Jedi Meditation and would meditate on the will of the force often. Not strong with her saber, she was outdone by Greivous and later killed by Anakin while she meditated. I gave her a lot of healing because with awhat I had she would not have been a Full template and she also seemed like the kind of Jedi who would get the healing lines.
These are a lot of the Jedi that I could think of right now. If you have a specific Jedi you want me to add then just post the name of the Jedi and I will research their style and add them ASAP. If you have templates yourselves for certain Jedi post it here and I’ll add it to the main post with your name and template idea.

Vader never uses force lightning in the movies, and according to the ep III visual dicitonary he actualy cant, because of having artificial limbs:
"As a result of having artificial limbs, Darth Vader will never be able to conjure Sith lightning - nor be invulnerable to it."

That being the case, he would have no need for the line in powers which is force lightning(and therefore also not be master in powers), and have those points spent elsewhere. Cool thread though

I'm not much on EU, but isn't there a book or something where Qui-Gon is nearly killed by a Gamorean Guard? I remember being told that by someone that was into EU. I'll try and dig him for the reference later.
