I think it's like that so you can't bank up enough xp to learn like 90% of a tree at once.

Mines did alot to me. Remember, these are times when i would clone and lost 200k a hit....now that loss is a think of the past. Not to mention pre cu, imo, much easier to die to a bh than now. Melee BH can easily dominate a pre cu knight. You hit the nail on the head. THe largest problem w/ this game is the Customer Service. I really don't/won't place the blame on the CSRs themselves, although some are useless. I think it's a general policy problem with SOE. I have played a few other online games, and they all have insanely better CS. Infact, CoH (City of Heroes) CS is so good, I think I enjoy having problems (rare that they occur). I mean, you get s bugged quest, the CSR is there, ingame, within 15mins, and FIXES the prob. If it's a glitch, and can't be reset, or you've tried several times, or was a really hard section, they'll even bump you forward for the trouble.
CS is the black sheep of the SOE family. Please take it behind the barn and do what's best.

Thats actually untrue, a fellow kauri jedi has had this problem acknowledges and devfixed...and many others who have been a knight as long as me are sitting at -10 mil on the buttong.

pre-cu everything caused xp loss. pve death, pvp death, bh death, stupid bug that you logged out and woke up dead. not to mention that there was an automatic 200k loss on top of the bh kill loss. so lets say you lost 452k xp on death + 200k cloning xp.... thats 652k xp on one death. now the problem with the cloning is you had 5 minutes to get a doc to you to rez you. alot of times there wasnt a doc close enough to hit you with a rez, or you had the stupid clone bug that would autoclone you for that super loss.
