The November edition of PC Gamer mistakenly reported that the next expansion pack of Star Wars Galaxies, Trials of Obi-Wan, would be available as a free download to subscribers. In fact, the expansion, while a digital download-only release, will be available for purchase by subscribers for $29.99. Also, as part of the pre-order promotion anyone pre-ordering the game will get early access - on October 25th - one week prior to the official launch along with an exclusive in-game item, the Transport skiff -- the first-ever eight-person vehicle available in Star Wars Galaxies!
who is actually gonna pay $30 bucks for this?
hell ROTW with JTL added was only 24.99, with space zones and 100 new quests. this POC has only 1 planet no space zone, and 50 quests.. and its $30 buck.. you have got to be kidding me. they must be losing some big time subscribers and are using this expansion to make some money back. sorry SOE i am not gonna be purchasing this for $30.. this is maybe worth $15...

And buying an expansion multiple times is only going to prove them right.

SOE are not incompetent! Far from it. They just have a totally different view then us. We just have to push forth out opinions, and SOE will usually listen.
SOE are just one tiny step from making the game "perfect" for me. And that step is removing Forced PvP, with BH attacks. I want to choose the moment of when I want to participate in PvP myself. I dont like being interrupted by BHs when I do missions, quests etc. And often I die, because im (always) comitted in battle already when the BH come. I cant handle 2 Nitesisters and a BH at the same time. Or other critters/NPCs.
But beside that point, I love the game! And the nerfs/balance wont matter much if we got rid of the forced PvP. No premium pearls is no problem either, you can choose to stay away from PvP! And I would not get interrupted in my gameplay and have it destroyed by BHs!
Remove Jedi from GCW, Remove jedi from the BH terminals, and the SWG world would become much better! And the level of hate between players would also plummet considerably!!

By not buying the expansion pack, you are also taking away:
1.) more fun in the game for yourself!
2.) developement money for SOE! And that in the end can lead to SWG to close down
And as I said: Even if I dont agree with SOE on that important thing as Jedi. I DO LOVE THE GAME!!! I will just have to bug SOE a few times a day, with good arguments ofcource, and im sure that SOE will listen in the end! We have seen some very good changes to jedi over time! And im sure, that if we continue to bug them, we will se more good changes!!
