Some tips tous jedi.

Root back. they win because we cant get into melee range.

Food: havla, and trimpin (spelling) They reduce the effectiveness of Combat medics.

Knock them down. eventually they run out of action. and when they do, /root, and beat the hell out of them.

Stimpacks. just because we are jedi with a 1500 heal, doesnt mean we cant use stimpacks too. I've ran into many jedi that dont use them, and for that they are stupid.

I'll give you a very good reason why I run and that is because I can.

I have the choice to stay and fight or Escape.

I have nothing to gain and alot to lose from the fight so I can choose escape if i want to.

I love your comments on cloak and so far IMO nothing has changed in the way I use it. However the fixes will definitely stop all the PVE Abuse that warranted the Nerf.

You can fight all you want that's your choice.

Just because someone chooses to escape doesn't make them any worse then you.

I decide how I want to play the game not how you think I should play.

Your tired of seeing Jedi run well that's just too bad.

i run because i don't pay money to be someone else's content.

what i do pay for (apparently) is to sit in a house and tune perls / crystals my mbh/mcm loots. and keep enough vis that bh still come by to say hi... from outside

i have no desire to ever pvp again in this game. been there, done that. made the corpse run & lost the t-shirt.

If my saber did more damage then fighting might be an option. At this point its like fighting with one of those fake plastic toy sabers that have the flashlight at the bottom making it light up.

Oh yeah. I find almost no joy in beating a BH because I get nothing out of it. All I did was save myself some grinding time.

I run cause it is more fun to play catch me if you can than to fight for 20-30 mins with my crap pearls. I can't outdamage them and they can't overly damage me (through Mdef) so we sit there whacking each other (not like that you sicko). That isn't fun. But running and trying to escape and find a way to stay escaped is way more fun. I always liked Tag. It's exciting to get hunted, but not to fight. Pure and simple.

i will stand and fight until i know i cant win and run. no reason to stand when u know u will die, just stupid really.

I run because i WILL not be forced into pvp. I will do it only if i want to and only when i want.I WILL not be someone elses content. Call me a rebel. There is nothing any one can say or do to change that for me. I will stay off the terminals as best i can but if it so happens that i get enough vis to get my name on the terminals and a bh comes for me then i will run run run because i refuse to battle people that i dont want to battle or associate with for that matter. In the role playing aspect as a light side jedi i believe its my responsibility to avoid conflict at all costs. I only use the force for knowledge and defense never for attack. The only way i will stay and battle is if im back into a corner and there is no way out. Thats it plain and simple. You may not agree i dont care because you still cant force my hand as long as i can run i will.

Too often players and the devs have a mindset that professions should be balanced with 1 on 1 pvp in mind. This mindset is ruining the game. The benchmark for balance should be determined by the role a profession plays in a group setting. As long as the current mindset continues we will never see uniqueness among the professions, nor will we ever see individuality within a given profession. We will never see the SWG universe expanded as the focus will only ever be balance pass after balance pass after balance pass.

the real question is, why NOT run?

jedi have the ability to run to preserve their lives and their XP. the reward for fighting is nothing to the average jedi... the full temp jedi have the reward of combat. and the thrill of being stalked, but that is only a reward to a select few... the majority of jedi get no reward to fight, so again i ask "why not run?"
