Thread: SAC and FC on sabers. Quick Question

hi everyone, i made a saber earlier, dbl bladed, and put the points into effeicency this time instead of dmg, i hada good secusse and my SAC went down by 6, from 126 to 121, i thought hey it isnt that good, so i tried making a 2 handed saber, since i have that tree as well. i did same thing put all 7 points in effecncy i got a great sucess this time but my SAC was at 100,
now that meant that the extra 2 bars that were used sucsessfuly in the experimentation droped my SAC by 21 points more than the first experimentation, or are 2 handed sabers have a lower SAC thana dbl bladed? my dmg was lower than my oringinal saber only b/c i had no points put into dmg and yet it still came out a 120-241 dmg saber on 7 experimentino points, with no buffs at all, jsuta 15.00 crafting tool and a 44 point station.
did i just make an extremely good saber and its a freak thing or is it normal? i have yet to finsih the mls grind and cant find bespin port yet, and a friend is also going to let me borrow his +25 exp suit for me to use and going to find a master musician to give me a buff. so i wansnt nearly at my best possiblecondition to get the best possible saber, i jsut wanted a temporary fix while i was hunting krayts.
also does 1handed have an even lower SAC and FC? although my dmg was lower, mt dps only turned out to b -10less than what it was on the dbl bladed but i can deal with that with this kind of saber.
i realize the way i posted it is a bit confusing, if it is tell me and il edit it a bit

are you using all your points at once??? i use each point one at a time. i find i get better results that way.

My other character is a Master Weaponsmith and it's generally accepted by craftersthat 2 points per experiment is optimal.

Yeah I tend to agree with experimenting one point at a time. I know it takes forever... but... I do seem to get better results.

if u use all your points at once and get an amazing success it equates to each point getting an amazing..if u use one point at a time the chances of getting each one amazing is very small. so id say its better to do them all or at least half in one go ..if you dont get amazing just do it again

This is generally the train of thought that I go with, usually just do 6 and 6 though, thiswas the way I learned it when my alt wasmaster Chef, I'm very interested to hear why the other peoplesay that point by point is best though, never actually tried that

so the SAC and FC on the different types of sabers is the same?
also i was told this strategy.....
put 7 boxes in effiecency, and if u get an amazing sucess, itll fill the 8th box up, giving u one free exp point, with which the rest u can put in speed or whatever.

If you can manage a 6 point amazing success.. that's like getting a free point.

ya the stats on the 3 types of sabers are all exactly the same now

As a long time crafter, I say go as many boxes as you can at once. That way you get the most out of your amazings.

I went through about 20-30 sabers trying different numbers of exp points. The best result I had was doing one point at a time. 3 amazing successes, the rest greats. If you don't get an amazing on the initial assembly...trash it and start over. So, I had an amazing on assembly, one on efficiency, and one on damage. Just read the forums while you wait for your stomach to empty. (using bespin port for exp and polywhatevercake for assembly)
