This seems to come up alot in this forum so I thought I would post the stats for a lightsaber (one-word) straight from the Prima's Official Strategy Guide. Enjoy.

These are the stats as they appear exactly in the Prima's Official Stratagey Guide. Notice the insane min/max damage. Holy crap these things are going to rock. Damage a minute is 4,333 when compared to the 1,036 of the Vibroknuckle at the bottom of the page. You can look it up on page 390 of the guide. I hope this helps as it was a pain typing it.

Cool...almost as good as the pistol im using. And I dont have to stop moving to use it.
BTW....Do you honestly trust anything from that "Strategy Guide"?
My vibro knucklers have faster speed than that thing.
Prima guides always get stuff wrong, especially on MMORPGs, so we'll see how wrong they are on this too.
If that is all the more powerful the lightsabers are then, hell, why cant i just take my axe and have it melt a giant metal door?
If those are seriously the stats for a lightsaber then screw becoming a jedi. Not even 300 max damage??

just about everything stat related in the SWG strategy guides is dead wrong... the strategy guide told me that there was a creature on dathomir that gave 19000 exp, and had 300 life... turns out... it had 10000 life, and gave 3000 exp... it does that all the time as well... the only thing it can really tell you is location... and there no guarantee on that...
do you ppl NOT see the armor rating 2 on it ?

Maybe if prima did, you would I bet.
Prime is got to be the worse compay for guides, they are infamous for printing tons of incorrect data.
Majority of things from Prima's book is wrong. Have you looked at it yet? It's based upon the BETA statistics. Professions.....you need 6k of crafting xp to be an armorsmith...haha, def. BETA stats. The weapon stats are a little different, dont trust anything from the book really.
