Could had told me sooner Sheep. So I didnt have to blow those resources. But eh. Was hoping that experimental damage would had showed at least some difference. Guess all my master points with a crafting suit would go into Efficiency.90 SAC here I come.
95 is cap I think. With suit, you should be able to cap SAC and put some else where.
I've played around w/ experimentation on my saber. I personally don't think Damage is completely useless. Actually I have 2 versions of my saber, one is my regula r"pwnage" saber and the other is my Big PVP saber. My massive PVP saber is mostly experimented on damage and marginal SAC of 103. W/ that said, in big PVP fights you're never to the point where you are attacking 100% of the time as in duels or PVE.
Some times you're running to heal or for cover, or you're chasing someone so SAC isn't of much importance whereas 10-12extra damage isn't unwelcomed.
I wouldn't recommend "noob sabers" doing this, this is more of the added beefage to your already good saber, but that's just me and my playstyle.

95 sac cap - and then the rest of your points into damage or speed - wherever your pearls are weakest
Oh cant u guess where my pearls would b weakest at. Damage straight up. Just needing better tunes.
Best way to craft a saber in my opinion is:
Cap in efficiency with 9 exp points (need at last 1 large amazing roll)
Put 3 exp points in dmg (not in speed). You may ask why dmg and not speed as more or less what you can gain in DPS is the same. Faster with less dmg or slower with more damage, right?
Answer: The elemental dmg works on the max damage of the saber, so you gain a few more points going to dmg. In my case the elemental raises from 202 to 204 adding the 3 exp points to dmg.
Basically you need to have skill tapes for saber speed (broken atm) and for general melee speed (still debating if these are borken or not).
Opith
8 Points into Efficiency = 97 sac and 48 fc (i finally got an amazing succes).
2 Points into Damage = Since modified speed isn't working and i attack once every 2nd sec anyway, i thought i'd might as well hit a little harder.
Saber ended up like this:
48 FC
246 max damage (can't remember min
97 sac
Pretty decent i'd say, don't think i can get anymore out of it without a 12 point suit.
Imo going for 95 sac isn't really needed, cause if your buffed up with say mando wine and booster blue and doc buff - you will have to fight LONG time before your pool is dry.
Anyway just thought i'd share, don't know if it helps actually
