Thread: Tuning Pearls
If your tunes are really that bad, forget digging up more pearls for the moment. If you head to the Canyon Corsair Stronghold on Lok, you can farm that place for 6 or so power crystals an hour from them. I havn't been there since pub 24, but prior to the NPC/AI changes, they were pretty easy for a single player with an AOE to handle. They only drop fair crystals, but with 10-20 of those you should be able to do better than what you have. 50-100 and you should be able to pull together something a bit better than a D-Cell flashight. Your not likely to get anything from there that'll compete with apearl with a good tune, but the ones you have aren't usefulfor much more thanlamp bodies as you decorate your house.
Once you get to the point where you have a few reasonable pearls/crystals, build yourself 3 sabers:a 1st gen with a good fc crystal that'll let you score a hit on a creature without doing any real damage(or costing youmuch of the force you can't spare), one 4th gen with your biggest heavy hitters (that onesgonna make your little purple bar cry...), and one middle of the road 4th gen that balances damage against force cost.

It's random

Who knows, my best pearl has the second lowest top condition of the ones I use, but with the variances, I could be the freak, he could be the freak, who knows.
