On October 1, 2005 at 4:00 AM PDT all servers will be taken down for maintenance and a hot fix.


The hot fix will address the issue with DOTs are not working properly.


Hot Fix Update

October 1, 2005



  • Fixed an issue where DOT effects would play until a player logged out.

  • Fixed an issue where DOT damage was not happening

Jedi modded speed broke since very first day of CU.....still broke.


Devs break CM DOTs....fixed 2 days later.

ROFL, man, this is the reason why soo many of the Jedi now are arrogent, IT WAS HITTING US ALL NOT JUST JEDI, couldn't PB for a looong time because a CM and myself did a friendly duel and said for about 3 hours I was on fire, so please, calm down, the sky isn't falling.......

1.) the hotfix was a nofix
2.) devs could look back and see how they broke DOT's...as far as i know, they have no clue as to how they managed to break LS speed.

I bet there waiting to add in all the Jedi stuff at one time...


there are varibles that if there going to make a big alteration to it would make any temp fixes moot non fesable...


Like adding a new system of tunning and pearls all together which they have stated the "current prem will stay in game interm till new system is implemented"


same with FRS its all going to come in one package


and if you look at the trends in the publishes and the expansion...


put your money on it being quest driven for sure..and maybe even teier driven simular to pilot


just my opinion anyway
