i hear yea. Lag is bad i can't play like that.. this sucks. another failed game... what dumb Dev's we got..

My understanding is that lag is 9/10 times caused by ones own PC and not SWG. Check the dev tracker as I believe there is a thread relating to Lag on Mustafar

Would have been neat-o if they made the entire planet instanced for the group you're in that you want to visit with. Oh wait, all my posts are pointless and absolutely filled with nonsense. Nevermind.

I assure you it isn't my PC. I'm not running some out of date piece of junk. P4 HT, 2GB RAM and 256 GForce with 6MB cable modem. I don't have a problem with any other game. It also begs the question, "Why is this the only MMORPG that lags so bad?"

Though I spose we should be gratefull that the game didn't stay in loading mode all day with a new publish.

hahah i can't believe they are still useing ancient hardware. what losers. lets all move over to world of warcraft. they use up todate hardware and i rarely lag!!! EVEN IN IRONFORGE!

I have no idea why you lag so bad. I have a similiar computer, maybe a little slower and I am having no issues with lag on any of the planets including Mustafar. Why does mine work fine and yours not? That question is not a flame, its to point out that even if it seems to be true(ie. lag is SWG fault)it may not be.

Why do they not upgrade then? Can't be for lack of money. Most hardcore gamers here have mutiple accoounts to succesfully work one server. So SOE is getting 30-45 a month from a large percentage of their subscribers. However, take a game like WoW [not saying game itself better] that allows 8 or so chars per server, so 99% of their subscribers only have one account making it 15 a month. SOE should have the best dam servers out there!
