Thread: What to do with my Jedi when I am not playing (afk house sitting)...will I get in trouble?

nah...sounds too much like content for the BH...
I do it every once in a while , I want then to get something negative from Trying to Kill me and Disrupt my Game , so the least I can do is make me Available to get to , if they decide not to come in , its on them , if they do I hope they broought friends (usually someone will accidently DB you from a Macro and no XP loss if they get in )

I dont read threads like this fully, mostly its just a bunch posts by some of willy waving kids acting tough and talking all netspeak (all the coolest kids do you know!)

I know that if I use afk IN GAME macro's to keep my jedi online it is not against the rules...SP spammers do it...the dev's even made a post saying the clock a person runs (afk toon to run the clock macro's was cool) so I was wondering this...
Odds are my jedi is on the BH terminals...I grind and people come around...I am not a SP show off jedi...but I imagine I am on the terms.
so I was thinking...I hate it when a BH comes out and messes with my limited playtime so I was wondering if messing with there playtime by doing this is against the rules and if so...how is it against the rules?
I was thinking about leaving my Jedi on when I am afk...parked in my private house...I figure late night off peak hours and during peak hours when I can't play I will piss off a few BH by wasting there play time like they waste mine when I am out having a good time.
One thing I would want to know before doing it is if I am breaking a rule can you tell me what rule I am breaking?
secondly I would want to know if you can still send in bomb droids/pets to private houses to boot people out with a BH TEF...has that been fixed?
If a DEV/CSR can tell me that it is against the rules with a straight face and point out how it is any different then an afk dancer/sp spammer I will not do it...and saying well you are disrupting the game for the BH is not enough...afk dancers disrupt the game for ATK dancers and SP spammers disrupt the game for merchants who pay for barking droids...so saying I would be disrupting the game for bh will not cut it...if you can tell me what rules I would be breaking I would not do it.
(disclaimer I am not...I repeat NOT suggesting others do this to clog the BH terminals with afk jedi...I am just posting this to see if it is ok or against the rules to do...)

BHs are already crying about this because it intrudes on their powergaming "I win-ness". And the messed up part is the devs are taking suggestions on controlling this. Sad isnt it?
There is nothing wrong with being afk in your house. Just leave it at that!

if they make going AFK for whatever reason forbidden, then they'd have to do it for the spammers and entertainers too. Nothing wrong with sitting afk in your private house.

there is a huge post on this at the BH forums. There is nothing against the rules about doing it. Just makes them really mad.

Is there still BH exploits for them to boot you out of your house or have they been fixed? anybody know?

I think I pioneered this tactic.
I used to leave my jedi running a
/rude;
/pause 300;
/m rude
macro
and leave him running in the basement of the house all the time..sometimes upwards of 12 hours while I was working.
I never had ANY trouble with BH looking for me, maybe 3 in 8 weeks.
Once youre known as a macroer/house hider, they see your name come up and they just drop the missions
