It has come painfully clear to me that there is a bit of inbalance in the world of SWG, especially when it comes to the race of Wookiees.
Pros for being a wookiee:
Wookiee Roar -- a combat ability that is honestly pretty worthless
+250 Max Health -- Especially nice--a definate bonus as a jedi
Cons:
Inability to wear normal humanoid clothing, which greatly restricts their ability to craft, etc
Inability to wear normal humanoid armor, which also requires rediculous resources, which in turn makes it much more difficult to acquire any armor, much less any armor of quality.
Post NGE:

I played the beta for hours on end the other day, and I ended up looting 4 articles of clothing. THREE of them were braclets that gave buffs... the only problem is, I CANT WEAR THEM BECAUSE I'M A WOOKIEE! Now is this really fair? It's bad enough there are no wookiee jedi-friendly robes from ToOW, but this trend continues into NGE? I think some thought needs to be put into balancing the races. As it is, no race suffers as much as Wookiees. NGE removes wookiee roar, and the +250 max health bonus. What is there to make us fair and balanced as compared to the other races? All there is, is negatives against Wookiees.
Am I the only one who is feeling this way? Or are the other 10 Wookiee Jedis out there feeling the same?

See, this is the problem! No one cares about us suffering wookiees. I'm tempted to just delete my characters and make new Darth Maul ripoffs, just so I can be like everyone else.

Blame SOE for changing the unlocking process. Your alt was supposed to have become the Jedi not your main.

Blame myself? Ok, so instead of call for a change to the only race that is facing such problems, I should blame myself. Gotcha.

It doesnt matter which character unlocked as a jedi. All my characters are wookiees. All of them suffer the same fate--drastically imbalanced.
stop crying, delete your wookie if its hurting yourself so much. You knew when you made the damn furball that you would be restricted.

I should delete my jedi? Ok, so what about the other Wookiee Jedis out there? Should Bac delete his jedi? Should we all just delete our jedis? I dont think that's going to do anything. Future wook jedis will still suffer, wookiees in other professions will still suffer. What's the point?

I'm not complaining that I'm a wookiee. I'm complaining that wookiees are being discriminated against. I just want to be able to wear the same things as the rest of you. Is that soo much to ask?

if your worried about being able to wear the Elder robes, dont be, wookies have always been able to wear the arbiter robes
