Thread: which would you rather have: (player poll)
I am not saying 'give us this, or give us that', but simply getting an opinion from the community on what we as a whole (forum wise) would prefer first:
1: loot tables adjusted so ALL crystals and pearls were back in the game,
OR
2: FRS re-instated. (untill new FRS gets put into place (in the event that it ever does))
discuss.
why we can't have both? why do we have to have a half-assed game all the dam time?..but if i would have to choose..1

Its dumb to reinstate something and then just change it. FRS would be nice, but fair crystal and pearl drops aren't nice, they're essential.

I only included one option because it seems that when the devs do focus on doing something we want, it's pretty much always been just one thing out of our top list.. And the two biggest complaints specifically jedi related right now are crystals/pearls and FRS, was just curious which one was more important to the playerbase.
and no i dont have ToOW yet, but still.. quests are nice and all but c'mon heh.

I remeber te Old days of the noble Jedi running arround in gank packs only attacking the single player trying to grind Factions points.
I don't see how something like the old FRS could have made it in anyway....
Ther was never any rebel or Imperial Jedi in the movies its stupid to have that at all...
Jedi should be seperate factions with ther own secret war.
just like all the griefers want pre CU back so they can do ther Leet Mind Dot wars again... pffft there ws no honor nor glory pre CU

You say that now, until the FRS starts and you have a bad saber. Then all the pre9 Jedi with their perfect and ADK'd sabers flood the ranks, and you are at the bottom, with seemingly insurmountable odds, if and when they decide to put the pearls back.
The playing field must be levelled before the FRS returns. I do not want to see anymore nerfs, so that rules out taking the good pearls away from people. The only reasonable answer is to either return pearls, or drastically change the way sabers are crafted to allow people to create new sabers that are generally equal based on your skill level (obviously, a MLS will and should have a better saber than 0404, etc.) But the chances that they will screw that up are so high that its not even worth it.

heh my saber is sufficient to have a good time, i can beat many jedi with my template and saber, that said, i may be blessed, as i was able to get my hands on 1 or 2 pre-nerf pearls, but they're not 'perfect' and my saber is far from 'uber'.
as far as your comments about MLS go, I personally AM a MLS and i belive there should be a 5th gen for MLS's, a 5th gen that requires the use of post-cu pearls and crystals, or does away with them completely. Make MLS worth it, only reason i have it now is for the acc mods heh sad waste of points

1 has to happen before 2 otherwise we are back to exploiting players using their higher DPS to achieve high ranks early in the new FRS, but the only reason it will be exploiting is that the lower DPS Jedi dont yet have access to the items required to match those doing the said exploiting, so very little will be different to the Previous FRS and fight-clubs.
deffinatly 2.
pearls make a difference but not as much as actually knowing how to play a jedi toon. i dont think the reintruduction of good pearls would help as many people as they seem to think.
just dealing more damage wouldnt help out as most people dont realize what all their skills do they just want the glow stick not the actual work that goes into jedi.
