Thread: Anyone willing to wait out a Jedi Revamp without fixes or good dev communication in the meantime?

Let's just say a Jedi revamp is on the horizon, let's say it's in December. Will you waste months being broken just to wait for a revamp that "may" be on the horizon?

We know how long it takes most other professions to actually get a revamp, revamps never arrive even close to on time.

But let's just say it will come in December, is having the Devs blatantly ignore you in the meantime, other than to post: "You are broken on purpose, enjoy." or hear Tiggs say: "Tough." worth your time and money?

I'm probably not going to wait around that long anyway, and unless Trials of Obi Wan does something miraculous Nov. 1st will be the day I cancel my subscription for good. They can't even show us (or any professions for that matter) the courtesy of letting us know where they intend to steer our profession.

Which pretty much tells me they have us blindfolded cause they're driving us towards the edge of a clif.

Supposedly patch was our "revamp". What all professions need is some type of related content and roles in PvP etc.

no,

I'll resub maybe 3 months after it happens so they can make it playable...

There is nothing for my character to do now in game beyond killing Krayts and the DWB

I have no problem waiting on a fix if I know the fix is coming. Hence the problem no comunication from the DEV's = not knowing anything!

Just making a point, testing the level of "utterly fed up" amongst the Jedi.

My summation from the general attitude and consensus in these forums that we're going to see a lot of canceled accounts every month because people can't have hope for something that isn't coming.

Even religious prophecy is less vague than the Development staff for SWG, that should tell you something.

The problem is, as you say, a complete and utter lack of communication. The Devs aren't listening to anything we say. The next Revamp, when and if there is one, will likely be as off the mark as the last two were.

When I read the Developer posts and the boards, I want to throw the game into a metal shredder because it is unfathomable to me that they don't get it. How in the Lord's name can you blow the Star Wars franchise like this?

Signs are everywhere that this game is in a death spiral, and it all rests with the inability of the Developers to listen to what the players want.

Kind of ironic that SOE can't compete with Blizzard. The reason simply lies in the inability to listen to your audience, something Blizzard does extremely well.

Stop playing.

Really.

If this game is that frustrating, turn it off.

The fact is, lots of us log in and have a great time.

Or play your alt.

Or delete the Jedi.

Lots of options.....rather than coming here looking for sympathy because what you thought you were getting has not turned out the way you had hoped.

this is partialy the reason why no one likes us.....a large part of the jedi community thinks about nothing but themselves.

I mean come on....

There are a lot of other professions that havnt had ANYTHING to do in the longest time. Some since the begining. We shouldnt be so worried about when do we get to be the best again and start worrying about when they are going to fix the game itself so that there are LOTs of professions that are fun and not just jedi or BH..

I cant wait untill I will actually be able to "play" my smuggler which ive been waiting to do since launch

Lets just hope its before the long promised Smuggler revamp....lol

But no really, my point is that im not sure even improved communication could be relied upon. Just at look at how many times the smugglers were promised a revamp.

Oh yes, because the sooner the remaining malcontent amongst the 25% of the total subscribed about a year ago-leave. The sooner you can get down to business playing virtually by yourself with the 5-10% left on the few and consolodated servers.

Because you know as of July 05 SWG had less subscribers than the origianl Everquest and RuneScape (Lmao) Pretty pathetic that game using the Star Wars license which has sold 1 million copies is anything other than in the top two.
