Thread: Can Enhancers protect themselves against NPC Jedi now?
Message Edited by MsNiL on 10-11-2005 02:02 AM
Most of these npc are in the cl 78 to 82 range and if someone knows there template can be defeated.
However most of these npc's are hanging out with ALOT of friends andif your not careful its a quick trip to the cloner.
The only ones that will be a problem are the bosses who are meant to be fought with a friend or 2.
For the most part the expansion is visually stunning and a blast to do the quests with pretty good loots, but some of the quests are meant for a group which isnt all bad.
My toon on beta is mls/enhance 3402/heal 4000/def 4040 and i do just fine against almost everything.
I am talking about reflecting NPC Jedi forceattacks (such as nightsisters) with Force Feedback, suck up force with Force Absorb, and drain them with Force Drain.

Anyway, my guess is it doesn't help against NPC force attacks, like always...

My guess is that not even Force Shield will help.

That's a very good question. Bacciacca? Could you test this please?

Unfortunately, I also have the gut feeling that all those neat enhancer abilities like force shield, absorb and feedback still do not work against NPCs attacking an Enhancer with force power attacks.

If I was in beta, I would have tested it for sure. Unfortunately, I'm not. Oh well, perhaps someone with access to the beta will be kind enough to test it for the rest of us...

Yeah Ill go test it.
Thank you. I'm looking forward to the results. I really wish I could help with it, though.

I heard the NPCs now use A.I that is based on the profession they use.
Some of theese are Jedi.
What I want to know really is if Enhancers can protect themselves against their attacks, with Shield, Feedback and Absorb.

The last time Sisterswere able touse theirpowers. All of the enhancer defenses worked against them with the execption of force drain. It made it real fun going against an elder with a master enhancer to test out your force defenses.
If memory serves me correctly ... yes, it does reflect/absorb their Powers damage. As always, though - it is very, VERY few and far between when it actually works (I would say 25% of the time, at best).
