They are deluded...they actually think that WE are the content. They think that everything revolves around them, and we whine when we die. When, in fact, the only reason we die at all is because we are being nerfed to hell. How often would we be dying if 3/4 of the jedi population has 4 Perfect Krayt pearls in their saber? How often would BH's hunt us all sabers had 600+ dmg average? What about if all jedi still wore Composite armor? And now, if we were wearing RIS's?
Why are the Devs siding with the BH's? WHY?
The jedi system in SWG will die if this doesnt stop...everyone here knows that. EVERYONE, but the devs. This game will turn to crap if the Jedi system doesnt be fixed...
Can you picture all of the n00Bs in the Mos Eisley cantina, and what they are thinking?

"Can someone help me get jedi?"
and hearing the resounding
"Post CU jedi are CRAP"

Its most likely a fact that 3/4 of the people who join the game dont go to treela or w/e, and instead stand in the middle of the starport yelling "BUYING LIGHTSABER...will pay 1000 credits!"
The answer is out there, its up to us to find it, and inform the devs. Or our game turns to dust. Dont complain, present problems, and try to find an answer to the problems. Dont flame me for ONLY presenting problems. MY Problem is that no one has answers for things like BH/Jedi hate, and low saber damage, and we NEED answers, or this game might as well be peed on by gay midgets.

LOL, did ya notice how I was flamed to Hades and back, for nothing more than answering the question asked...I was as polite as I could be..
But after describing how the Jedi/BH system brings about so much hatred, I get flamed to no end...only proving my point about needless hatred that this game mechanic has caused.

Yea I noticed that. It is just the same old tune for them over and over. "Dont like it dont go Jedi"
I dont mind being hunted, I dont mind the PvP aspect.. I would just liek to see some balance is all
Im far from flaming. but Im not too sure why anyone would want to become a jedi if they are not prepared to accept what comes with it.
shortly after I unlocked, and got killed a few times, the jedi'bh situation stressed me to no end. So I learned to pvp. I am aware that some lightsabers out there may actually be worse than mine (I am post cu but it seems that I got lucky because I tuned 4 out of 8 pearls and crystals close to 100 dmg each). However, I learned to use my skills to the point where I haven't lost to a bh in so long....
In fact, I am not too sure that I even have visibility because I haven't seen a bh in like 3 months!
So, although I don't walk around looking for trouble. And I wouldn't mind some encounters (espec. since Im full temp and have 4 mil xp in the bank) I take the situation for what its worth. It's so funny. but even when I play an alt, I am looking for bh's. Then my guildies have to remind me that Im not playing my jedi. lol.
PVP/hunting IS the content for the bh's. But bh's are not the only content for jedi. I'd suggest that we accept this and move on with our lives.

That's like telling a cop about the guy who broke into your house and stole your stereo, and the Cop says, "Well, you can just go down to the store and get another..."
And before you say it, I will agree, it goes from both sides...Both Jedi and BH are filled with trash talking, "I gotta be more uberer than joo!!" kids... and for THAT reason is why I say the player bounty has become such a bad game mechanic. Putting one profession in a position to penalize another is a bad idea when both sides are filled with those who are to immature to handle that responsibility.
And I still stand by the belief that this player bounty system is nothing but a feeding ground for such an astounding amount of pure unadulterated hatredbetween people who don't even know each other. And it is a very unhealthy cancer in an MMORPG. As it is now, it has gotten to where there are three types of people left in SWG, The jedi, the BH, and those left behind that the Jedi/BH have forgotten about. There isn't much community anymore, there isn't much at all other than the Jedi vs. BH war. The cantinas are usually empty except for the one in hot grinding zones... the hospitals and med centers are all but abandoned, and the only things found on the bazaars any more are crystals, resources for building sabers/weapons, and armor for the BH/Jedi war.
Yes, I will admit, There are alot of Jedi, but there are also an equal amout of BH's, so what is to do here?
Many answers have been given, but the DEV's refuse to acknowledge any of them. One is to do away with the player/bounty system, as that would free up the Jedi/BH wars, and allow more emphesis on the GCW. Then increase penalties for Jedi taking action in Public NPC cities. If Jedi want to fight the GCW, they can do it out of the public eye. But if you're dueling and PvP'ing in front of starports, expect a 500 CL BH to show up and take ya out real swiftlike.
But whatever they do, one thing is for sure. The hatred we have now towards each other, is a cancer, and this cancer is what is slowly devouring what is left of this game I still love to play so much.

well said. I agree 100%. The whole Jedi/Bh war is outdated, old, and tired! It needs to go the way of all the pre-cu game mechanics and be retired! You can blame this game mechanic for all the nerfs or "fixes" if you will. They are a direct result of an idea that professions need to be balanced for a 1 vs 1 pvp duel, when in actuality professions need to be unbalanced and fullfill a unique role in a group pvp battle.

The des have bent to the whims of the masses and the call of the credit cards. They have made jedi so easy to get now that anyone who bought the game in August can be a fully templated jedi in 4 months...anyone who has done the FS grind, can have it within a month. If you expect to do well in the FRS, then I suggest that you go out and fight the bh's, the other jedi, and anyone else that is willing to fight you. Content, sheesh, you can't have any content if you are afraid that the shishing noise your front door makes.
The old FRS was about PvP, but noone, not even you, knows what the new FRS is going to be.... I have heard just as many rumors that it will be more PvE based than PvP as I have otherwise. So you can skip the little bright boy lecture.
As for going out and fighting just to be fighting, don't you think that this game has suffered enough from folks wanting to have glowy pecker contests just to see who is the mostest uberst?

Im not against running either. But I usually only run if I need to regenerate force. Then I come back. This aint over till it's over!
