Thread: Request for Jedi Master Tag and Master/Apprenticeship

In order to continue with Julio's vision of total immersion into the Star WArs Universe...I propose the following things....
#1 - Give full template Elders (or just full templates maybe) the Jedi Master Tag.
THis is in line with the vision. It would really help the "cool" effect of the game, and it would finally get that tag in the game (been out of commission since FRS). You could also get some other tags like Consular, Guardian, etc. The "elder" tag is not really in line with the star wars immersion.
#2 - Initiate the Master/Apprentice System.
Would continue with the STar Wars feel and would be a lot of fun. New Force Sensitives would have to get a master who was either an Elder Jedi or at least a full template (this would solve problems if a lot of elders left). Wouldn't HAVE to be on the same time as the apprentice....but would require training from his master. This idea might needs to be developed a bit, but I think this suggestion has found its way to the forums here before.
Devs? Players? Any suggestions?

Well, I'm a Pre CU1 Dark Jedi Knight. I'd LOVE for their to be a definte way to become Jedi Master...but since they're not...I thought the JEdi master, guardian, consular titles might be a good replacement for elder.

Not sure Ilike the idea of seeing "Jedi Master" titles everywhere, but I do wish there was a master/apprentice relationship. I don't care how it works, just that it's there. Somehow.
But I think the devs have deffintly heard us ask for this in the past, and it looks like it's not going to be added, saddly. We can dream though...

I agree 100%. I wanted to join the FRS soely for the reason of getting the jedi master tag. But on, soe had to remove the FRS while i was still half way through my trials

agree not masters everywhere..but better than elders everywehre i guess...but the other jedi titles would work....the system would be GREAT for roleplaying....

this has been talked about/begged for/petitioned for many times to no avail. I'm sure someone can dig up the petition, its like 100 pages of ppl signing it...
